Biggest Mistake

Liz walks out of Lilith and Roland's place and goes to get a rocket ready and hopes Axton will come around. Liz feeds Junior and heads to Scooter's to get the rocket ready for her.

Axton heads out the door and goes to find Liz, guessing she'll be with Lilith. He runs up the stairs and find Lilith and Maya. They turn to him and Maya scowls, "why hello cheater. Was your decision worth it?"Axton lowers his head and sighs, "that's not what it was. I-I fucked up. I got drunk last night and I guess I slept with another woman and I made obviously the biggest mistake of my fucking life." Maya and Lilith look at each other then back to Axton, "she's leaving for Helios in a little less than an hour and she said if you met her before then and explained yourself she'll forgive you, but if not she's leaving and possibly never returning." Axton gives worry filled eyes, "what? Where is she?" They both shrug and Maya smiles, "but you made the mess now you fix it. If you succeed and god so help me if you make this mistake again her fire isn't the only thing you'll have to worry about." Lilith gives a tiny laugh, "agreed." They fist bump and Axton slowly nods and heads down the stairs and out the door, "she could be anywhere. Maybe Scooter's or Moxxi's." Axton rushes to Scooter's and walks up to his desk, "where's Liz?" Scooter spun in his chair to face him, "she just left and I don't know where she went." Axton huffs and walks out the door and tried Moxxi's. Axton runs up to the bar, "do you know where Liz went?" Moxxi sighs, "sugar all I know is she got Brick to come in here and chain up Jack like a bad skag. The only other thing is her saying she's leaving in a few." Axton bangs his fist on the bar, "dammit I need to find her." Axton goes back out the door and thinks, 'where could she be? Maybe Zed's to talk to Roland.' He runs to Zed, but no sign. He looks at Roland who's up walking around some, "hey Roland what's up? Have you seen Liz?" Roland raises an eyebrow, "no. Why? Is something wrong?" Axton sighs, "yes. I made the hugest mistake of my life and I'm trying to explain myself to her." Roland places a hand on Axton's shoulder, "son, the thing I could tell you is when you make a mistake and you know you've messed up she may know too. If you need to explain yourself just stop and think of where'd she go if she'd ever need to talk to you." Axton thanks Roland and runs out to think, 'where would she talk to me?' Then another thought comes, 'it's been almost an hour. Oh no!' He runs as fast as he can to Scooter's and sees Liz in the distance, but suddenly a lot of weight drags him down and Lilith and Maya notice. Axton looks up and sees it's the girl from this morning. Axton tries his best to push her off, but she keeps clinging. Lilith teleports to him, "enough lady. Get off of him and let him get to his love and if not I'll set you on fire." The lady quickly gets off, scared of Lilith's warning and runs away. Axton catches his breath, "thank you." Lilith gives a serious look, "hurt her and I'll set you on fire. Are we clear?" Axton nods and quickly gets up and runs for Liz. They all turn to him and Liz stands shocked at his arrival. Axton stands up and holds her hands, "Liz I know I look in a bad spot right now, but I choose the first choice. I made the biggest fucking mistake of my life. The woman you seen was-actually I got drunk and that happened and I wish it didn't. I'm so sorry. They told me about you leaving and all and I ran around everywhere within an hour looking to stop you and explain myself. Liz I do have a question though and one question in general that'll show you how much you mean to me and it'll lock us together forever." Axton let's go of her hands and kneels in front of her and pulls out a ring, "will you be my future wife, princess?" Liz gets taken by shock and so does everyone else and Maya being Maya speaks up, "I'd say yes to a shiny ring like that." Liz smiles, "I mean I don't want to say yes to end the moment, but... yes I will even though you do some stupid shit sometimes I still love you." Axton slides the ring on her finger and hugs her tightly, "I love you too." All the others are touched by this and Maya is scowling, "remember what I said Axton. I will be watching." Axton sighs, "I know." Junior lays beside Liz and she bends down to pet it. Axton chuckles, "well this all worked out well." Liz smirks, "that reminds me. I saw that bitch try to keep you from me. I'm going to find her and kill her." Axton tries to grab for her, "Liz?" Lilith puts his arm back down, "just let her do it. She'll do it anyways." Maya gives Axton the stank eye then Axton opens his arms for a hug, "c'mon you know you want to." Maya rolls her eyes and gives in, "I'll be watching mister." Axton smiles, "I'm sure you will." Brick puzzles,'"so do I just throw Jack back into the cage?" Axton looks to Lilith and Maya, "I guess so." Brick nods and starts walking away with Jack over his shoulder.

Liz searches everywhere from birds eye view and finally spots the woman near Moxxi's talking with another guy. Liz rolls her eyes, "slut." Liz soars near Moxxi's and lands behind her on her feet. The girl gets startled, but makes a bad face at her, "come to thank me for keeping your boyfriend warm for you? You know he was pretty good." Liz gives a little laugh, "you know what I do thank you. Thank you for keeping him from me. To be fair you tried to go against my twin and keep him from me and for you to say that stuff to me and sleep with my boyfriend at our hard time, it takes guts. You know that I'm here to kill you right." The woman smiles, "I'd like to see you try bitch." Liz gives a little smirk and as the woman goes for the punch she lets out her wings and dodged it, "oh to slow." Liz drops back down and pins the woman and tenses up so her body feels like lava and burns the girl alive until she's dead. For one last measure she aims a stream of fire at her and the guy she was talking to runs away scared. Liz smiles at the woman's now burnt body, "never stood a chance." She walks back to the rocket area and walks up to Lilith, Maya, and Axton. Lilith grins at her, "have fun?" Liz laughs, "hell yeah. Want to see?" Lilith shakes her head, "I'm good." Axton takes Liz's hands, "the ring I gave you. I made myself and there's something else to it." Axton lightly taps the top and it starts to play an echo.

I know if you're hearing this then you more than likely said yes to my proposal. Now I want to tell you how much you actually mean to me. *skag noise* I know Junior she means a lot to us. Anyways you mean everything to me. I know I do stupid things, but you always come through. I just have the insecurities of what people tell me is that you're evil and manipulative. You were to them, but I don't see that I see an amazing, beautiful, bad ass, gunslinging, and soft spotted, woman. I love you very much and you mean everything to me and Junior. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive and accepting my proposal.

Liz moves her hand and wraps her arms around his neck, "that's so sweet and you know I would cry if I could." Axton chuckles, "I know you would and actually I made this the other day when you, Lilith, and Maya were on girl's night." Liz holds him as close as she can get him, "I love it. Do you want to have a celebration? If you know what I mean?" Axton pulls away and smiles, "sure do." Lilith teleports Maya and her out leaving them two to it. Liz and Axton hurry to his house and he tells Junior to stay outside. He pushes her on the bed and smiles at her, "that girl could've never took your place. No one can." Before she could respond he kissed her with an everlasting kiss and he makes his way to her neck and starts kissing and leaving love bites there. He brakes away and looks at her, "I can't believe you're my soon to be wife. Man I love you."

Note: well they're back together and now near tying the knot. It's perfect.
