Opening The Vault

Axton hangs up the echo and goes to sleep in between Maya and Zero. Salvador decided to keep watch, but Axton couldn't sleep if he tried. Axton went and stood by Salvador keeping watch as well. Salvador looks up at him with a semi worried expression mixed with confusion, "can't sleep?" Axton nods, "I can't sleep without my princess." Salvador gives a tiny chuckle, "you're tied down, aren't you?" Axton smiles a laugh, "yep. I've already jeopardized our relationship a few times. I do some stupid shit, but she comes around and forgives me." Salvador smirks, "I never thought Liz would be the one to settle down, but everyone knew if she ever did it'll be actual love. Seems like that's you." Axton shifts around on his feet, "that's what it seems like. I know she does, but there's the voice in my head that says she doesn't." Salvador puzzles, "are you lying? I hope you're lying. She loves you to fucking pieces. Liz isn't the type to just settle with someone, or almost cry over. She's not the type to just love someone." Axton sighs, "I know, but we got into a big fight the other night. I got drunk and cheated on her. It was all caused because of that other voice and Jack triggered it and said that I was just a pet and was on a leash. Like I was just a boy toy and being used." Salvador breaks into laughter, "did you really listen to Jack? He says the most lies to mess with people and manipulate them." Axton huffs, "well I can't keep letting my insecurities jeopardize my relationship." Salvador looks around, "well with time those insecurities will go away. Just be there for her and soon those thoughts will be no more." Axton huffs, "I didn't know you of all people will know anything about that." Salvador gives a chuckle, "well I may be all about wielding guns, but I've seen a thing or two on love. You just need to let those thoughts drown themselves out." Axton sighs, "I'll let it happen." He stands with Salvador for a while and decides to try to sleep the rest of the night. The next day they make their way to the next battle. Axton leads them to a sneak attack in the next place. He throws his turret out and it starts to shoot. A few go down and Maya runs toward phase locking one and Salvador takes two guns and shoots around the area killing several. Zero teleports and slices a few. Axton teams with Maya and as she phase locks them he shoots them. A bandit grabs Axton from behind and pins him to the ground and puts a gun to his head. The bandit looks at all of them, "y'all shoot and he dies." Maya looks to the others, "Liz would kill us if he dies." The bandit fidgets with the gun, "who's Liz?" Salvador sighs, "his girlfriend and if she were here you'd be dead by now." Maya comes up with a plan and silently turns to Salvador, "get your gun ready and aim carefully. I'm going to have to phase lock them both." Salvador nods and Maya phase locks them and watches as they both rise up into the sky. Salvador aims at the bandit and kills him. Maya drops Axton and the dead bandit. Axton falls first and the bandit falls on top of him. Axton crawls out from under the bandit and gets up, "nice planning guys." Maya smiles, "yep. Beside Liz would've done something very bad if you died. Now let's keep moving." Axton shakes off after the fall and leads them to the next map. They spawn into the final battle and start to kill the bandits there. Axton starts the battle with cover and throws his turret out. Just like the last one they fight through and get to the vault, but what awaits them is bigger than imagined. Maya looks shocked and turns to Axton, "we're gonna need more hands." Axton echos in Lilith, "Lilith we're going to need extra hands for this spawn everyone here." Lilith cuts and soon Axton sees Lilith spawn in a cloud of purple along with Liz. Axton smiles at the sight and they all start to fight the destroyer. Liz yells to the others, "shoot at his chest. It does more damage." They all shoot at the chest. Axton throwing his turret and shooting, Liz shooting fire and guns, Lilith phase blasting, Maya shooting, Zero shooting, and Salvador double shooting. The beast gets destroyed and falls to the ground. Lilith runs over to the vault key while Axton and the rest of the team gather. Liz laughs, "nice work everyone." Mordecai and Brick show up and Lilith turns to them, "where where y'all when we could've been dying?" Mordecai chuckles, "that means we won." Axton smiles at Liz, "I've missed you so much." Liz hugs Axton and he pick her up off the ground with an enormous hug and kisses her cheek. Liz giggles, "I've missed you too. I have to tell y'all something." Axton let's Liz down and Liz turns it them, "Jack told me he made a monster for y'all to fight and don't get mad yet. I was going to tell y'all, but then Axton called. I didn't know anything about it until Lilith came to me and was like, 'hey they need our help.' I didn't know until today." Maya smirks, "it's fine besides we have the key." Lilith looks at the key, "we need to destroy it. It'll only bring greed and deaths." The crew says nothing and Lilith destroys the key. A map shows up of many vaults. All of them are on Pandora. Liz squints at it, "that's amazing. Imagine all of the things in those." Maya stands beside her, "imagine the deaths that go with it." Liz gives Maya a irritated look, "you know I'll be fine with that." Lilith turns to them all, "yeah there ain't no rest for the wicked."

Note: I literally watched the ending on YouTube and got that. Also whatever it's totally fine that I just started playing it again and I totally never actually finished the game.
