Time to Claim Helios

They start their return home and rest half way. Liz sits on the ground in front of the fire and smiles at them, "what's next?" Lilith puts another stick into the fire, "well you and Axton have big plans to take over Helios." Axton smirks, "who said I was going?" Liz gives him a death stare and play punches him, "you're joking." Axton chuckles and pushes her down and hovers over her, "I am. I love you. Also I would love to have the glory of ruling over a whole fricken company." Liz wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him. Maya sighs and rolls her eyes, "oh my god. Hey love birds keep it pg." Mordecai gets up, "I'm going to the tent so nothing can happen." Liz breaks, "who says we still can't?" Brick stands and follows Mordecai, "well that's my cue." Liz giggles, "fuck y'all." Axton just continues on and kisses her neck. Lilith gets up along with Maya, "y'all two have fun we're going to bed." Salvador and Zero just walk into the distance and Axton and Liz watch as they walk away. Axton smiles down to her, "now we're all alone." Liz gives him a quick kiss, "guess what. I'm not in the mood." Axton puzzles, "you can't just do that." Liz smirks, "I just did." Axton sighs and stands up. Liz smiles and holds her hand up, "I could use some help." Axton raises an eyebrow with a tiny chuckle, "you can help yourself up." Liz huffs and stands up, "such a gentleman." Axton puts the fire out, "and you're such a pleasure to deal with sometimes." Liz starts the fire again as payback and Axton scoffs, "I just put that out." Liz smiles, "and I just lit it again. Also I'm hurt." Axton puts out the fire again and walks with Liz back to the tent for sleep. Zero keeps watch that night. Axton and Liz share the double sleeping bag and Lilith sleeps beside them then Salvador and Maya sleep on the other side of the tent. Brick and Mordecai sleep to the right. The next day Liz wakes up cuddling into Axton's chest. As usual Axton kisses her and says, "good morning, princess." Liz smiles at him and they step out the tent. When everyone's out Liz despawns the tent and it phases into nothing. They start the journey back and after an hour Liz jumps on Axton's back and kisses his cheek. Axton rolls his eyes, "you can fly. Why do you need a piggyback ride?" Liz smiles, "because I love you and I don't feel like flying. I also figured out another cool trick with my new powers." Axton smirks and boosts her up more while still walking, "and that is..." Liz grins and whispers in his ear, "stop walking. It's cool." Liz jumps off when Axton stops and balls up her fist and flames come out, but start to make a dome like structure. Liz turns to Axton, "it's a force field. Pretty cool huh? No bullets get in, but I'm pretty sure bullets can leave and when we return to Sanctuary then I have something else to show you." Axton looks at the now shield around them, "wow. Also how do you unbuild this?" Liz smiles at him, "duck." Liz sends a fire blast and the shield breaks. Liz stops covering Axton and stands back up, "wasn't that amazing?" Axton slowly gets back up straight, "umm... without the fire blast to get rid of it, it seems pretty cool." Liz starts to walk back off and Axton shakes his head and follows. After another half hour Axton starts walking beside Liz, "so what's the plan for Helios?" Liz thinks, "haven't really thought of one yet, but I'm pretty sure when we get back the next day we're leaving." Axton hesitates and nods, "so what else did you want to show me?" Liz grins, "you'll see. Maybe even when we finally claim Helios we can y'know... celebrate." Liz starts strutting in front of Axton and he just smiles, "I love that idea." Liz stops him and wraps her arms around his neck, "you do?" Axton kisses her and Lilith turns and gives a loud sigh, "come on not again. We're trying to get back." Liz holds up her middle finger to Lilith and Lilith smiles and shakes her head, "well we'll just leave you then." Liz breaks away and continues her walk with the others. When they arrive back to the main land they all fast travel to Sanctuary to save time. Lilith and Liz spawn in first followed by Maya and Zero, then Axton and Salvador. After them brick and Mordecai spawn in. Liz silently counts in her head, "everyone here?" Lilith nods and they start to walk to Zed's to check on Roland. Lilith walks in first and Roland sees and walks over to her, "hey. Where've you been?" Lilith rolls her eyes, "well you know just looking at the plenty of other vaults with these people," she points to the rest of the group. Roland smirks, "find it?" Axton chuckles, "more like a giant ass dragon thing." Roland sits on the operating table, "at least you got to see it. Now everything is normal, I'm okay and Jack is locked up. Liz and Axton are going away. Everything's great," he turns to Liz, "When are y'all leaving?" Liz thinks, "most likely tomorrow." Roland nods and gets back up and walks out of Zed's, followed by the rest of the group. Liz leads Axton to Moxxi's where Junior was being baby sat by Moxxi. She walks up to the bar, still dragging Axton, "hey Mox. What's up?" Moxxi turns around to her, "Junior is sleeping beside Jack's cage." Liz nods and skips to the back room and looks at Jack, "hello Jackie boy." Jack smirks, "Liz. Nice to see you again. I see you still have your other pet with you." Liz rolls her eyes, "calm it. I'm just here for Junior." Liz kneels in front of Junior and smiles at her sleeping skag pup. Junior wakes up and stretches and pounces on to her and licks her. Liz giggles, "Junior off." (Watchdogs reference) Junior obeys and steps off. She gets up and turns to Axton, "I wanted to show you its collar," she turns back to Junior, "sit." Junior sits and does his skag noise. Liz smiles to Axton who's shocked, "what?" Axton stutters, "I-it just did everything you said." Liz smirks, "yes he did. Now his collar is a cool device. His collar can repel any bullets near him and you can also adjust it by touch and if someone inflicts any type of damage on him then it'll notify me through my echo and will send me the location of his whereabouts if he ran off. Now we can actually take him on missions." Axton's eyes widen, "that's cool." Liz nods, "I know right. Anyways we need to be ready to leave tomorrow to claim Jack's company." Jack got up and clung onto the cage, "no. I worked so hard to take it for my own. You can't just take it." Liz reaches through the bars and touches his cheek, "you see kiddo, we are. You're going to watch us do it. Tomorrow I'm taking you, my prisoner, with us. You will watch your company fall into mine and Axton's hands." Liz gives him a tiny slap and a small smirk and turns back to Junior and Axton, "let's go." Junior, Liz, and Axton exit, leaving Jack alone. Liz walks out and looks over to Scooter's, "I'm going to Scooter's to get a rocket ready for us then I'll be back at your house and we can get ready for tomorrow." Axton nods and takes Junior to his house to start getting ready. When Liz returns she sees Axton and Junior asleep and sprawled out across the bed. Liz smiles and takes her weapons off of her and climbs beside him and falls asleep.

Liz looks over to the new vault hunters over the fire. She couldn't stop staring at Axton. Axton smiled at Liz, "you keep staring at me like that you're going to end up learning a lesson." Liz smirked, "maybe I want to be taught one." Axton stays silent and Liz whispers over to Lilith, "I'm going to see how far I can take this." Lilith rolls her eyes, "oh my god Liz." Liz stands up and walks away making sure to strut as she does so. Axton follows and Lilith sighs, "I should've known this was coming." Liz walks over to Moxxi's and leans on the wall, throwing her empty beer bottle to the side. Axton comes up to her and pushes her fully against the wall. Liz looks up at him and teases, "excuse me sir. A bit of personal space would be nice. Not to mention I could burn you alive right now." Axton leans down, just inches from her lips, "you lost the privilege of personal space." Before she could make a comeback Axton kissed her roughly, taking Liz by surprise with a gasp. Liz pushes him away, "what the fuck!? I'm always the lead." Axton smirks, "not this time you're not." He throws her over his shoulder and Liz screams trying to get down. She stops fighting, knowing there's no use and sighs, "I haven't fully controlled my powers yet so if the others ask why you have burn marks then they'll know." Axton chuckles, "doesn't bother me one bit because you'll learn control today." Axton takes her back to his new house in Sanctuary and lays her on the bed and smiles, "I hope you're a fast learner." The next day Axton feels the burns from the night before and limps around almost everywhere. Maya raises an eyebrow, "what the hell is wrong with you?" Axton hesitates trying time come up with an excuse, "I-I was y'know... I-Liz wasn't fully in control of her powers and while we were-y'know... she kind of burned my body." Maya laughs, "that's hilarious. You don't need hickeys now. You know what you need? Some aloe vera and burn ointment." Axton rolls his eyes, "it's not that funny." Maya calms a bit, "it really is."

Liz wakes up to Axton giving her a kiss. When she opens her eyes Axton smiles, "good morning princess." Liz gives him a long kiss, he didn't expect and breaks, "good morning."

Note: the flashback if you didn't catch on was about Liz and Axton's first hook up and I thought it'll be funny if she didn't know how to fully control her powers while doing the dirty. Other than that they will be taking over Helios in the next chapter and either the next chapter will be the end or the one after that idk yet.
