Be My Girlfriend

Liz wakes up behind Axton and she cuddles around him. He moves his muscles and lets her cuddle him. Liz kisses his back and rubs his shoulder. Axton turns around to see her and smiles, "I missed waking up to see you after our little meetings." Liz giggles, "I remember when you first met Junior."

Liz finds an abandoned skag pup and sees Zero going for the kill. Liz thinks fast, "wait Zero! If you kill that skag pup I will cut your head clean off!" Zero looks at her questionably, "why?" Liz smiles, "it's mine." She walks down the hill to pick up the skag pup, "see it's harmless. It's just a pup. I will raise him as my own." Zero rolls his eyes (well from what I understand). Liz carries the skag pup back to their camp and goes to find Axton in his hut, "hey Axton guess what." Axton turns to her, "yes?" Liz smiles and holds up her skag, "I have a pet." Axton raises an eyebrow, "a skag." Liz smiles, "oh c'mon you'll learn to love him." Axton let's out a small laugh mixed with a huff and a smile, "that's a he? Are you sure?" Liz giggles, "I'm not sure, but this is now our child. I will name it Junior. Junior say hi to your father." Junior makes its skag noise. Axton's eyes widen, "woah it actually did." Liz smirks, "because it's smart. This is your son, or daughter." Axton decides to walk over and try to pet it, "I'm not ready for parenthood, but whatever." Liz laughs and Axton kisses her then exits the hut.

Axton smiles, "I remember that day. Where is Junior?" Liz sighs, "on Helios. He's fine, no worries. He's also a spoiled skag pup." Axton chuckles, "so does this mean we're divorced because seems like you have custody of Junior." Liz giggles, "I didn't divorce you. Why would I?" Axton shrugs and gets up and dresses. He leaves the house to give Liz privacy. Liz gets dressed and thinks about what Maya was saying about love and how she'd learn it with Axton. Liz didn't know how, but put faith in Maya. Liz sighs and then leaves the house to walk to Roland's and Lilith's house. Liz puts in the passcode she remembered from yesterday and entered. She climbed the stairs and walked over to Lilith, "where's Roland?" Lilith doesn't turn around, but continues her work, "he's out commanding the Crimson Raiders. How did it go with Axton?" Liz nods and smirks at the last bit, "y'know I've missed it. I've missed him in general." Lilith turns around and smiles, "he's missed you. Your touch, your affection, your attitude, your everything." Liz looks down, "that's what Maya was saying." Lilith giggles, "seems like y'all made up for lost time." Liz stares with shock, "how'd you know?" Lilith smiles, "I've got my ways. But for real, Maya told us." Liz laughs and walks to the couch to sit, "so about the plan. I'm thinking to do it in a few days so y'all can be ready and Jack won't be suspicious." Lilith nods, "you know what? You not being evil towards us is helping. The fact that a lot of people missed you is another. We can't live without your fire loving, pyromaniac, psychotic, terrorizing, evil, personality." Liz gives a little laugh, "I don't no whether to be hurt, or flattered." Lilith shrugs and turns back to her work, "eh." Liz walks back down the steps and opens the door and sees Axton. Liz was startled so her first instinct was to punch. Axton dodges, "woah easy there tiger, no broken noses today." Liz smiles, "sorry. Force of habit. You really have to stop doing that." Axton laughs, "you think. Anyways I was wondering if I can make that time up from yesterday tonight?" Liz grins, "I'd love that." Axton chuckles, "great. I will see you tonight outside of Moxxi's." Liz watched Axton walk back into the distance and can't stop smiling. "Aww isn't that cute," a voice from behind her says. Liz whips around and gets startled again, "y'all got to stop doing this because someone's gonna end up dying and as much as I'd like to take the blame it'll be y'all's fault." Lilith smirks, "I have fire powers too now. Anyways you and Axton are going on a date aye?" Liz slowly nods wondering what she's planning. Lilith huffs, "I can tell that you think I'm planning something. Why would I? I'm just happy to see y'all going out for fun. It's cute." Liz looks at her, "you want to plan it, don't you?" Lilith aggressively nods and Liz rolls her eyes, "go talk to Axton not me." Lilith skips out the door happily and Liz shakes her head, 'oh my god.'

Lilith goes to find Axton to talk to him. Lilith sneaks behind him, "so for yours and Liz's date whatcha goin to do?" Axton jumps and sees Lilith, "at least now I know what Liz feels like. Anyways I was planning to drive her to a cliff and watch the sunset and talk with her." Lilith fake yawns, "boring... you know Liz she'll end up throwing you off. Needs more evil." Axton chuckles, "I don't know evil. I'm sure Liz will like it. She goes with it and as long as I'm there she'll be happy." Lilith gets in front of him and smiles, "Liz happy. Hahaha she's happy when she's murdering. I think I have a plan to spice up the cliff sunset date thing." Axton puzzles and Lilith moves her hand in a "follow me" motion, "come with me." Lilith goes to the storage room with all of the recorded echos. Lilith picks a box with Liz on it and another with Axton on it, "find some memories. I'll help." Lilith picks up one from Liz's box and plays it.

So I just found an abandoned skag and showed my romantic interest, Axton and I have decided to name it Junior. Junior is now our baby and I love it. The skag noises are so adorable. Every bandit I kill normally is fed to Junior because Junior is a spoiled little skag so far and will always be spoiled.

Lilith smiles to Axton, "that's a good one." Axton chuckles, "y'know we were just talking about Junior this morning. Also why are we going through these?"  Lilith smirks, "wait and see. Pick one from yours." Lilith slides his box over and Axton picks one.

There's a girl who's unordinary here and I like it. She's the twin of the great siren, Lilith...Well I forgot to mention the evil part. She's not like any other girl I've met and we've known each other for several months and had a hook up, or two, but the bad thing is I think I like her. I don't know how to say it so I'm going to hide this echo. The odd thing is why do I like her? I think it's because of her beauty, her attitude is hot, I just like everything about her. Did I mention she's a straight up gunslinger? She can definitely wield a gun and I can't run her thought out of my head.

Axton turns red, somewhat embarrassed and Lilith laughs, "she needs to hear that one." Axton slowly hands it to Lilith to put in a pile, "I think it's your turn." Lilith smiles, "oaky dokey," and pulls one out.

I'm going to Helios soon to work for Handsome Jack, but the only thing handsome about the idiot is Jack shit. Nothing! Anyways I'm leaving to gather intel on his whereabouts and plans. I had to do the hardest things in order to go. Before the next part, I may be evil, but I have a heart. I'm only taking my skag, Junior with me. Other than that I had to say goodbye to my twin sister, Lilith, my best friend, Maya, and my love interest, Axton. The thing with me and Axton is I like my freedom and he understands that, so we aren't boyfriend and girlfriend, but I sometimes wish we were. The only thing I fear is that I'm not a person of love, more like kill and enslave. I don't know, but back to the Helios subject, I don't exactly know how long I'm going to be gone and no use to get attached to Axton, he'll move on. He'll find someone better. Someone completely different because who can love somebody like me and actually show compassion and affection for. Goodbye Pandora, for now. I will return.

Lilith sees Axton slowly picking one out of his box trying to forget the one that just played. Lilith reaches over, "she's like this. She doesn't know love, or what it's about. Love her and she'll find out. It takes time. If you love her then you'll show the patience for her." Axton raises his head so their eyes lock, "I'll do whatever it takes. I do love her and I can't believe she thinks that I could never love her because of that." Lilith smiles, "I know you'll show her, you're a great guy. Pick one so we can get through to the next thing." Axton grabs one and plays it.

So about this girl I've been talking about... she's going to Helios next week with Junior. Kind of good she's bringing Junior because he'll remind me of her. She promises she'll be back and I hope she will. I'll wait as long as I'm alive for her. If Jack so much as touches her I'll rip his body apart piece by piece. I still haven't told her, but I guess now is not the time to anyways. Side note I can't stop thinking about her and these echos the past few weeks have been nothing, but Liz and how I feel. I want to tell her, but how?

Lilith smirks, "that one is definitely a yes." Axton turns red again, "I know I'm so embarrassing." Lilith giggles, "I think it's cute. Besides my plan will work out great." Next one from Liz's pile.

This one gets a little personal. So I hooked up with this new guy and I've known him for like a month, I don't even know anymore. It was amazing. I have to go into details...

Lilith rips that one out, "nope. That one is not going to work." Axton smiles, "of coarse Liz would make that." Lilith hands it to him, "you want it because I sure as hell am not listening to it." Axton shakes his head, "I'm good." They both laugh and Axton grabs one out of his box.

So the girl I've mentioned before brought a skag pup to me and said it was our baby. I'm not ready for parenthood. Anyways besides that she named it Junior and is very proud of her newly found pet. She'll kill bandits and give it the bandits remains. She spoils it so much. She probably doesn't know love, but she definitely shows it love.

Axton chuckles, "I'm not ready for parenthood whatsoever." Lilith smiles, "we've just bonded." Those were the main ones and so far we only have one of Liz's and three of yours. This is your date so you have more which is fair." Axton remembers Lilith saying something about a next step, "you said something earlier about a next step." Lilith grins, "oh yeah I did. So now that you have the echos and the venue there's another thing. That is bring an extra hoodie because I know her she'll get cold and want to steal a hoodie at the same time." Axton puzzles, "okay?" Lilith hands Axton the echos and watches him walk out the door. She smiles realizing that her evil twin had just found love. Lilith cleans up and heads out of the storage area.

Liz was eager for sundown and waiting for the time to come. She tried to wait out by slaughtering bandits until the time came and the time finally did come. She raced to Moxxi's steps and waited eagerly for Axton. A few minutes after her arrival Axton showed up, "are you ready?" Liz practically jumps on him with a hug, "are you kidding? I've been ready!" Axton chuckles and walks her to the catch a ride and picks a car. Axton opens the door to let her in, "after you ma lady." Liz gets in, "such a gentleman." Axton smirks and walks around the car to his side, "buckle up." Liz rolls her eyes, "you too mister." Axton smiles and shakes his head then starts the car and drives out of the sanctuary gates and off into the desert climate. Liz looks at him, "sure is cold at night." Axton grins, silently thanking Lilith and reaches for his extra hoodie and hands it to Liz, "there ya go. You can keep it." Liz giggles and puts it on, "will do." They arrive to the cliff in time for the sunset. Axton sets out a blanket and motions for Liz to sit and Axton seats himself behind her and holds her in his lap, "this is so beautiful. Almost as beautiful as you." Liz smiles, "sweet." Axton rests his head on her shoulder and Liz holds onto his arms and rubs them. He gives her a quick kiss on her neck then rests his head again on her shoulder. They watch the sun set and when it gets darker he gets up and brings out the box of echos and sits down beside her. Liz stares at him and puzzles, "what's all this?" Axton smirks, "just listen." Axton pulls out Liz's first since its the only one and plays it. Once it's done Liz turns around, "I remember that day. We were talking about that this morning." Axton chuckles we heard a few and one I can just say I knew you'd make and before it got x rated Lilith snatched that one back." Liz laughs, "I remember that one. Our first hook up." Axton nods and grabs another which is the one where he talks about Junior and plays it. That one plays and Liz giggles, "see you'll love Junior. He's our child. Yes I do spoil it." Axton shakes his head and kisses her cheek then grabs for another. This one is the one with him talking about her going to Helios. That one plays and Liz puzzles, "tell me what?" Axton shushes her and hurriedly grabs the next one and pops it in, "listen." Liz listens closely and after it's over she has a shocked look on her face knowing Maya and Lilith were right. Axton gets a bit nervous, "do you love me back?" Liz hangs her head, "I don't know how to answer that, Axton. I don't know what it is." Axton brings her face up with his hand so they're looking into each other's eyes, "I'll teach you and I'll wait as long as I need. I love you Liz." Liz stands up, "Axton there is something I have to tell you. Please don't be hurt." Axton stands up and looks at her questionably, "what is it?" Liz sighs, "I had to get the information somehow. The only way was to sleep with him." Axton hesitates and runs his hands through his hair. Finally he lets out a long sigh, "I'm killing that mother fucker." Liz looks at him sadly, "so you're not upset with me?" Axton puts his hands on her shoulders, "why would I be? Knowing him he forced it." Liz nods slowly, "he did a few times, but the only way I could get information was to show interest. That's what I did and it's my fault." Axton leans her chin up, "it's not your fault. I mean you did what you had to, but anyways I won't let it ruin my biggest moment of tonight. We can talk about this later. I want to ask you something I've been meaning to ask for the longest time... will you be my girlfriend?"

Note: this is a long frickin chapter but whatevs it's a good one though and it's very productive too.
