Finding the vault

Liz wakes up to Maya entering Axton's house, "Axton wake your ass up right now!" Axton rolls over onto his stomach and Liz rolls her eyes and climbs on top of his back and straddles his hips and rubs his bare back, "wake up." Axton groans, "the only thing you're doing right now is making me hard." Liz giggles, "well then you should get up before you have a problem you can't fix." Liz continues and Axton rolls over to get her off. He sits up and starts to dress Liz smiles to Maya while covering herself with the blanket, "you're welcome." After Axton puts his pants on and turns to Liz. Liz starts to laugh when she sees why he turned. Axton reddens, "it's not funny! I even said that she was making me hard." Maya smirks leaning on the door way, "we tried to wake you up." Axton mumbles, "you woke something up." Liz gives a little giggle, "so why do you need him up anyways?" Maya looks at Axton putting his vest on, "well we've found the vault." Liz's eyes go wide, "no way!" Axton finishes his belt with a click and looks at Maya, "what are we waiting for?" Maya looks to his little problem, "are you sure you want to go out like that?" Axton chuckles, "by the time I kill everyone on my way to the vault then it'll be no more." Maya stands up straight, "as long as you say so." Axton gives Liz a kiss and leaves with Maya. Liz gets up and dresses then feeds Junior. Liz smiles, "well I guess this means that soon we'll be on our way to take over Helios." She takes Junior with her to Moxxi's to check on her prisoner. Liz walks up to Moxxi, "guess what." Moxxi turns, "what sugar?" Liz gives a huge grin, "I'm engaged." Moxxi opens her mouth, "oh my goodness hun I thought you'd never settle. You must love him to pieces." Liz nods, "I do and want to know something else?" Moxxi smirks, "what's that?" Liz taps the top and the recorded echo plays. After it finishes Moxxi gives her a hug over the counter, "I'm so happy for you hun. It's great you found someone you won't end up murdering." Liz smiles and walks into the back where Jack is. Jack stands up an puts on an evil smile, "how'd it go with you and your boy toy?" Liz smirks and holds up her left hand, "just fine." Jack keeps on his evil smile, but lessens it due to a bit of shock, "you have him on a tight leash, don't you?" Liz blasts fire in his direction making him cower and Liz laughs, "you thought I'd end you? No. I'm far from that. You will be tortured. Also you want to know where Axton is right now?" Jack slowly gets back up, "where?" Liz smirks, "he's making his way to the vault and won't be back for a little while. At least he's unlocking the vault you couldn't. You never win Jack and it makes me laugh." Jack stares at her, "he's going to change after that vault opens and all jokes and revenge aside, he is. I know he will. When that vault opens he will change and who knows if it'll be for better, or worse." Liz sits in front of the cage, "you're lying." Moxxi comes in and hands Liz a drink and scowls at Jack. Jack raises his arms, "I don't get one?" Liz looks to Moxxi, "just get him one. The most horrible one." Moxxi nods and gives an evil grin as she walks out. Jack sits too and faces Liz, "I'm not lying. I swear. I swear on everything I've done and all my evil plans and even Helios." Moxxi gives Jack the drink and walks back out. He takes a sip and makes a twisted face at its flavor making Liz laugh, "that is bad. Anyways as I was saying I'm not joking, or lying." Liz puzzles, "you really aren't lying. How has the people in the past changed?" Jack thinks, "I've seen a few who've said they were hunting the vault and it changed them and they didn't know if it was the magic of the vault, or what it took to get there. The ones I've seen changed to the worst." Liz gives a curios look, "how? What did they do to differ from before?" Jack shakes his head, "one had a family and he went insane and killed them all. His wife and little baby girl. Another one just went loony and no one knew him anymore. There were a few others, but same like before, or similar." Liz thinks for a while and sits in the silence with Jack. Liz hesitates thinking about what Jack said and gets up, "I'm going to go. Have fun in torture." Jack gives a sly smile and Liz heads out the door and thinks, 'mine and Lilith's father was a vault hunter. He didn't change. At least I don't think he did. Maybe only some do.' She shrugs off the thought and goes to see if Zed needs anything. Liz walks in and looks at Roland helping Zed around his place, "nice to see you up again soldier." Roland turns to her with a smile, "hey kiddo. I'm glad to be up. How have you been and why was Axton looking for you yesterday day?" Liz sighs, "well we had an argument then he cheated on me and I was going to leave for Helios and never come back and he was looking for me to apologize then he proposed and I killed the bitch he cheated on me with and now everything is back to normal." Roland tries to take it all in and catches on a part, "wait...wait, you said proposed. What did you say?" Liz holds up her hand and taps the top. Roland tried to speak and Liz shushes him so he can listen to the echo. After it plays Roland gives a huge grin, "oh my god girl. You got you a man." Roland pulls her into a hug, not caring about his injured side. Liz smiles into his hug and he lets go still holding onto her, ecstatic of what he now knew. Liz looks to Zed, "you have anything you need me to get?" Zed thinks for a moment, "no I think I'm good." Liz nods and walks out of Zed's. Liz kills the day with Junior and hanging around Sanctuary with the locals and when it's night her and junior go to Axton's house for bed. Liz gets an echo from Axton and almost jumps in excitement then answers. Axton is the first to talk, "hey princess, how's everything going?" Liz smiles, "still as shitty as ever. Me and Junior are just waiting for your return form the vault." Axton sighs, "well we're a quarter of the way there. Probably be another two days or so. I'm going to miss you and waking up to you." Maya sounds in the background, "barf." Liz giggles, "hey Maya." Maya grabs the echo from Axton, "hey sis what's up? Also you should tell your boyfriend to stop being lovey dovey, it's gross." Axton tries to snatch it back but Maya phase locks him just a bit above the ground, "I'm talking to my best friend." Liz huffs with a laugh, "don't phase lock my boyfriend." Maya smirks, "fiancé." Liz rolls her eyes, "put him down." Maya let's out a long sigh, "fine." She drops Axton and he lands on his feet, "why did you do that?" Maya grins at him, "I'm talking to her." Axton sits back down and puts out his hand for his echo and she surrenders to him. Axton smiles, "thank you." Liz lays back into the bed, "y'all are having a fun time. Aren't y'all?" Axton chuckles, "yeah, let's go with that. Right now we're hanging out around a fire and talking." Liz looks to Junior who's asleep and yawns, "I think it's time for sleep. A strong commando like you needs rest." Axton rolls his eyes, "I'm fine, but if you need sleep I'll hang up." Liz looks back at Junior, "yeah I think I'm going to turn in. Good night, Axton." Axton smiles while thinking about her, "goodnight, princess."

Note: this one went well. Not too much going on. Anyways now we're onto the vault and the story will be finished soon. Next chapter will be in Axton 3rd person pov. Also btw another plan I wanted her to do with Jack was for Liz to give him a kiss, but then I was like that'll drag it on and on so let's not do that. Besides she doesn't care for Jack whatsoever.
