Kelsea was organizing stacks of drawings and documents before she left and the new intern comes to replace her and be the new assistant to their project architect. Gosh, poor intern whoever he or she maybe. It's a lot of work but Jordan as your boss who gets hangover on random days of the week and asks you favors to cover up his slack, adds to any intern's work.

"I'm part of a cycling team now. I'm preparing for a big event in a couple of weeks." Jordan said proudly while still in his cycling attire. "I'm just going to shower quickly and change. Then we can start the meeting with Southwest Construction. Be ready."

Gross! I don't know what smells worse, sweat or alcohol?! I'm not so sure why he got this job in the first place?! Kelsea thought while trying to make sure everything is set for the meeting. She carried copies of the project proposal in her arms as she walked through the hallway that leads to the meeting room while her boss is getting changed and ready.

She passed across someone very familiar, all dressed looking more sharp and more handsome than she recalled. Briggs. She knew he was coming for the meeting that day but seeing him again after that night with his cousin, Luke, sent her heart pounding rapidly. Walking side by side next to him was a young woman she hasn't seen before, in her early 20s, wearing a black and white dress suit and matching high heels, smiling back at Briggs while they end their little chat as she briefly glanced back at Kelsea.

Kelsea ignored both, kept all her thoughts to herself and focus on the tasks at hand. Preparing for another project meeting is one thing but doing a job handover to the new intern which includes all the details of every project she was involved during her internship is something she hasn't done before. But she has to make sure this transition goes smoothly, her future depends on it. More of that her boss, the project architect, will endorse her to be eligible to take the architect registration exam.

Jordan, the project architect gave a brief review of the project followed by Briggs who presented the full structural proposal to the entire Robin Group design team. Everything is set except Kelsea who can't help not to admire the project lead engineer from the awarded structural contractor, SCI.

Briggs. He was wearing a dark gray suit matched with a blue tie. He looks like he can present a blank sheet of paper and still get the project. He is really not your average engineer. He is definitely the good looking type. He looks like the type who makes sure he showers, get dressed and smells good before heading to work. Jordan need to take notes from him.

The meeting ended and Kelsea awaited for him to submit their updated project proposal for the structural scope of works. He came closer to where she's seated as her heart starts to pound rapidly. She took a deep breath and move her gaze instead to the drawings in front of her. But she couldn't hide her cheeks who are starting to flushed a rosy pink color as she hasn't heard from him in days.

"I'm headed out now for another meeting. Briggs, make sure we get a copy of this updated proposal. Kelsea, are you alright? You're turning red?! You're not sick aren't you, you have only few days left here, hang tight will you?" Jordan said

"I'm good. I'm not sick!" As Kelsea unconsciously touched her flushed cheeks that felt warm against her fingers as Briggs faced her and she stood up.

"Hey." Kelsea smiled to greet him and extended her hand to accept the stack of paper works from him.

"This is the copy for the Robin Group design team." He said while looking at the young woman standing next to Kelsea, which up until now she doesn't know who and why she's there.
