(Cedric's Workplace)

"How did the fundraising event go? Adam said someone almost drowned?! That's crazy?!" Jaimie asked as she inspected the recently delivered baskets of fresh produce from a local farm.

"It was another busy night. But yeah, THAT incident certainly was the highlight. I was about to investigate that more today, but..."Cedric replied.

"Let's just keep this between the the two of us.. it looks like it's being covered up." He whispered as he quickly looked around to see if any of the other staffs were nearby. Safe to say, it's just the two of them checking the deliveries while the others are preoccupied with their own tasks for the day.

"Covering up.. what? Who? Did someone got hurt or die? Should we call the police? You know even if my Gramps is already retired, he knows a few of the new guys.. even the Sheriff himself." Jaimie added looking concerned.

"Ssshhh, lower your voice or we will just not lose our job but our hope in getting a new one. Didn't you read Miss Ravenel's email address to all the staffs not to make a word out of it.. upon her clients requests. Besides there weren't any casualties or we could have seen more than just the police that night." He softly whispered amidst the beginning of another busy day for the catering company they're both working for.

"I'm sorry I can't be there and I got so sick last minute. I should probably lists which food I'm allergic to." She explained.

"Hmm food allergies or hangover.. I bet you a $100 the latter?!" He teased followed by a chuckle.

"It could be one of the guests. I mean none of the other servers present can confirm who, right? Just curious. Adam insisted he even saw the red head girl who almost drowned, walking back inside, soaking wet from head to toe?! One of the male guests helped her out, going through another room.. just the two of them!" Jaimie tried hard to contained her anxious voice as she whispers.

"I better talked to Adam. For a big dude like him with a dozen tattoos, he gossips like my Aunt?!" He chuckled softly.

"Well, to make it interesting, Miss Ravenel gave me a call. I thought the kitchen caught on fire because she called me early this morning about it. I was barely awake but she definitely woke me up!" He added.

"What did she say? Just curious, I mean, I won't tell anyone.. I swear, my lips are sealed.. especially not a word to Adam.. uh-uh.." She pleaded as she gestured her point fingers to her lips, all ears on what her best friend would say.

"She told me: Between the two of us, Cedric, this little incident is no measure to the amount of trust that our clients have given to us all these years. A business thrives on trust beyond its reputation of excellent food and service. Our client wished that this incident will remain confidential and never to be spoken of." Cedric reiterated not just the exact words but even try to mimic the tone of their boss.

"Wow, that sounds like a disclaimer. I bet you a $100 she even recorded that conversation to sue you in the future. Hmm.. I told you, it involves one of their drunk guests. Rich people, more problems. Glad I can still stay afloat even when I'm drunk. I bet you double on it!" Jaimie proudly exclaimed.

"Not one of their guests. It involves someone we both know so well.. my cousin, Kelsea. Miss Ravenel was informed by the client that it was her and that she was safe and in good hands." He whispered as he moves closer to his best friend.
