Kelsea woke up to her phone by her nightstand, vibrating at 7:00 a.m., on a Sunday morning. She got home around 10:00 p.m. last night and got tired spending almost the whole day with Briggs. Not to mention all the pasta, wine, coffee and conversations from escaping the midday heat to embracing the cooler nights under the stars.

He's drugging me with lots of food, drinks and endless stories, she joked to herself. She glanced at her phone and to her surprise she got 3 messages all from him from as early as 6:00 a.m.

Gosh, does he not sleep, is he a vampire? And who wakes up this early on a Sunday? As she scrolled through the messages...

First message, read:
"I had a really good time probably the best Saturday yet, with you."

Second message, read:
"I can't wait to see you again."

"Hey beautiful, good morning, are you up?" was the last that he sent her that woke her up.

She typed and replied, "Yes, I need to sleep more."

"I'll be seeing you in two hours. Let me know where or I'll just pick you up at your place." He texted her back immediately.

In two hours. What? Why? You just spent the whole Saturday with me. That's too much for someone you don't know. She shrugged but can't help to blush as she felt her face suddenly felt warm from feeling all giddy.

It's like when you're told about going to a theme park for the first time and you're excited to wake up early even if you slept late thinking about it all night. Or when your first crush look at you and smiled for the first time. Both made my heart flutter. Except that was when I was in grade school and not now that I should be a more sensible young adult at 24. She thought to herself.

She wanted to refused but a big part of her wants more of him and curious about all this. A big part of her wants to be with him and have all his attention to herself. She felt like no one that she ever dated have given this much attention and time to her. Not to mention that he is a good looking guy and a professional too. He makes her want more of what she's not sure, yet.

They met for a Sunday brunch at a small cafe tucked in between shops and stores ranging from antiques, bookstores, gift shops to a farmer's market.

Kelsea noticed Briggs brought a camera with him that day as he placed it by the desk as they waited for their food to be served. He caught her curious eyes and he held it for her to see.

"Just a little pastime of mine whenever I'm out and about." He said, as he showed her what's inside. The collection of pictures were a mix of different subjects, from construction sites, buildings being built to gardens, parks, wildlife and a young girl's face about her age.

"My younger sister and only sibling. A year younger than you if I recalled your age in your job application correctly." Briggs explained meeting her wondering eyes.

"She's beautiful." Kelsea exclaimed.

"She is. She likes it when I took pictures of her. Then she gets to upload it on her social media page. I just like to play around my camera and explore the settings." He added.

"Come to think of it, you could be like my younger sister. I hope you don't mind our age gap of six years.. now that you know I'm pursuing you." He teased as he kept his eyes on her.

She can't help her cheeks not to flushed again. He knows how to make me blush and be uncomfortable at the same time. She still can't believe that a good looking man like him is going after someone like her. On the contrary, she can't believe herself for allowing him to take her out again, for the second day in a row, when they barely knew each other.
