Katie wasn't the only one in tears. Right next to her, her mother was in awe. She was a grandmother now. Her daughter just had one of the most perfect babies ever.

It took Katie a few minutes to catch her breath. She watched the nurses take her away to go get washed off. She looked up at Jo, smiling through her tears. "She's so beautiful." She boasted, wiping her cheeks. Her head turned when she heard that horrid cry again. She just wanted to cuddle her for forever.

Jo bent down next to her bed, pulling her into a hug. "I'm so proud of you." She whispered. "You're a momma now." She smiled, watching Arizona lay her back on her chest.

Katie looked at her daughter with so much love. She put her hand her back, gently rubbing it. She smiled at her little baby noises she made. She had yet to open her eyes yet, but Katie didn't mind. She was more than fine cuddling her for now.

Arizona walked over with a clipboard. "I have her birth certificate here. I can come back later if you don't have a name picked out, however."

Katie nodded. She hadn't even begun to think about a name. She'd made a list with Chris a while back, but she refused to choose any of those names. She looked up at her mom. "I have a few ideas, but I don't know." She sighed.

"Let me hear them, maybe I can help." She felt horrible. Her and Alex debated for weeks over her name. She didn't have anyone by her side to help pick a name, or even help take care of her.

"I like Paisley, Brynnlee, Charleigh, and Oaklyn." She said, keeping her eyes on her baby. Maybe one would stand out if she stared at her. "Clearly I have a thing with -lee names.." She chuckled.

"Hmm.. I like Paisley and Oaklyn. I think Paisley is fitting though." She grinned, seeing a smile come to Katie's face.

"I love that name." She smiled, tearing up. "Paisley Mae." She nodded. "You have a name, baby girl." She whispered to the sleeping baby on her chest. "Paisley Mae Karev." She couldn't stop saying it in her head. That girl was her entire world already, and she was only ten minutes old.

Jo adjusted her little hat, smiling as Paisley slept. "Kate, she's gorgeous." She looked up at the door when Alex knocked and let himself in.

Alex's heart felt like it stopped when he saw Katie lying with his granddaughter. He couldn't believe he already was a grandfather. "Hey.." He whispered, smiling. He went around to the side of the bed, looking down at the baby.

"Paisley Mae Karev." Katie said, looking at her father. "7 lbs, 4 oz., 21 inches long. Born at 4:12am."

Alex squeezed Jo's hand, smiling. She was going to be just fine as a mother. She'd already proved that. "Are you doing okay?" He asked, sitting down.

"I'm really sore." She sighed. She'd been completely distracted by Paisley to even think about the pain. "No pain meds." She didn't want to be all loopy. She was all that Paisley had right now.

Alex nodded. "Let me know if it's gets too bad." He hated the idea of her lying there in pain, but she seemed too happy to even think about it.

Paisley cooed, slowly opening her eyes. She looked straight at her mother, then around the room.

Katie gasped, smiling at her. "Hi, Paisley Mae.." She whispered. "She's got green eyes.." Katie had identical green eyes.

Paisley only kept her eyes open for a few minutes before closing them back.

"Sleepy girl." She cooed, pulling the blanket over both of them. She closed her eyes, getting a much needed nap in.
