A/N: Comment while reading, yeah? It would be a totally cool thing to do!

After Steven had signed me out, he led me to a parked car outside. Harry’s faithful bodyguards cornered us, keeping a watchful eye on our surroundings.

Harry, Zayn, and Louis all rode in the car with us. I was still extremely exhausted, and as the soft hum of the engine began, I leaned against Harry’s shoulder and closed my eyes.

I must have dozed off because it wasn’t until Harry gently shook me awake that I opened my eyes again.

“We’re here,” he muttered.

Still half-asleep, I let Harry support me all the way inside. He steered me directly towards the elevator. The others stopped us when they began to speak.

“I’m going to get some food,” Louis said.

“I’ll go with you,” Zayn added.

Steven stared between us, puzzled. “I have no idea what’s going on here,” he said. “But, Cami… Make sure you rest, okay? The briefing is postponed until tomorrow morning, so I expect you all to be up bright and early.”

Zayn and Louis gave an audible groan, and I hid my smile behind Harry’s shoulder. They were like two kids who didn’t want to go to school. They yelled a farewell, and I looked up at Harry, who just shook his head at them.

Once inside the elevator, Harry turned to me. “Are you hungry?”

Shaking my head, I said, “Not yet. In all honesty, I don’t think I can get anything down right now.”

He took my hand. “I’m not going to let you out of my sight again.”

“What about when I have to pee?” I asked casually.

He shrugged. “I’ll manage.”

“Eww.” I scowled. “No… I don’t want that.”

Laughing, he stepped out of the elevator once we reached our floor. “What if I just guard the door then?”

“Better,” I muttered.

In front of the door, he stopped and placed his hands on my waist. Leaning his forehead against mine, he whispered, “I don’t want anything to happen to you.”

My heart melted. I placed my hands on his chest. “I’ll be fine,” I said.

“I know you will…” He kissed my forehead. “It’s myself I’m worried about here.”

Raising my eyebrows, I stared at him. “Is that so?”

He opened the door. “Sure. You’re strong and all. I’ll probably go bald with worry if this continues.”

I laughed and turned to close the door after me. “I doubt that.“

When I looked back, he was gone. I could hear his footsteps on the soft carpet in the living room. Curious, I followed him. What was he up to?

The living room was empty, and I began to hate how big this suite was.

“Harry?” I called.

He didn’t give me a reply, and like a trace-dog, I sniffed the air. Not that it was any help, but it made me feel slightly like a detective. However, all I could sense was a faint hint of cologne from Niall’s bedroom. I walked over and popped my head inside.

Apparently, Liam and Niall weren’t inside the suite at all. That meant that Harry and I were alone. I couldn’t help the flutter in my stomach at that thought.

“Are we playing hide and seek?” I muttered. “If so, it helps to inform the other player beforehand.”

I hadn’t heard any doors close, so that left only a few rooms left.

“If you’re planning to jump out and scare me,” I said out loud. “Then I just want to remind you that I was just released from the hospital.”

I didn’t think it’d work, and the doctor hadn’t said anything about avoiding shocks, but I figured it was worth a shot. But just as I’d guessed: no Harry stepped out.

With all my senses on high alert, I tiptoed from room to room. Until finally, there was only his room left. I walked inside, cautiously looking from side to side.

If Harry was the one hiding, why did I feel the need to be sneak around? It made me feel like a spy. The thought amused me.

His room was just as tidy as ever. As I looked at the bed, flashes of our previous make-out session burst behind my eyelids whenever I blinked.

I walked over to his desk, noticing a piece of paper. Grabbing it, I took it with me and wandered the room. It seemed to be a first draft of something.

“I’m happy to announce…” I muttered to myself as I read over it. Skimming over his neat handwriting, I realized what this was.

I stopped pacing. It was a first draft of how he was going to reveal me as his girlfriend.

When had he written this? According to Louis, Harry had only dropped back here to gather some clothes, and then returned promptly to the hospital to wait.

I bit my lip. Had he written this right after the fight the other morning? Before our date? After?

It hadn’t occurred to me that he needed to write out a speech—it seemed like an awful lot of trouble just to announce he had a girlfriend. I tried to remember if Ludmilla ever mentioned something like this. Would I have to prepare too?

“What are you doing?” Harry asked from behind me.

Startled, I yelped and jerked around to face him. “Harry! I—“

Spinning around hadn’t been the wisest decision. Feeling dizzy, I stumbled. Harry reached out to catch me, wrapping his strong arms around me.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

“Yes…” I muttered. I felt embarrassed over being caught snooping in his stuff. Trying to force myself out my whimpering, I narrowed my eyes at him. “You scared me.”

He chuckled. “Not intentionally.”

Smacking his chest lightly, I tried to sound angry. “Why were you hiding from me?”

“What?” He laughed. “I—“

Upon hearing him laugh at me, I stepped back abruptly. Unfortunately, I wasn’t entirely steady on my feet, and as I stumbled backward, Harry reached out to catch me again.

Everything moved in a blur, and I was still trying to gain my footing. Harry stepped closer, right as I fell forward. My face collided with his chest, and with a soft oomph, we both landed on his bed.

A/N: If any of you guys are good with pictures and stuff, I still need pretty things to put on the side of the chapters.
