After six rounds, our voices had risen alongside our moods. We’d gotten to the point, where it was hard to act neutral when Zayn read out the facts. It didn’t take them long to see a pattern in my facts, and I couldn’t exactly blame them either. They did share a similar theme. Meaning, they were all the most boring of them all.

It meant that one drink quickly became more, but I didn’t mind. I took the punishment of my lame-ass facts happily, and I laughed along when the other revealed darker, deeper and dirtier sides of themselves.

So far, I’d gathered that David had started his acting career with a couple of B-movies, where he played some sort of zombie alien. He also had a great passion for jazz.

Diana’s facts were the most surprising, and I was surprised when each one was laid out on the table. She’d mentioned before that she came from a poor home, but as the evening went on, I discovered exactly how poor. Apparently, her mother had been a stripper, living in a trailer home during Diana’s upbringing. Her father had abandoned both of his girls before Diana could walk, and she’d studied hard to get to where she was.

It was nice to see a new side of her, and somehow, it explained her earlier behavior better. Through her entire life, Diana had been a go-getter, who worked hard to achieve what she wanted. Considering that she had had her eyes set on Harry, it didn’t exactly surprise me that she’d fought for him at first.

Most of all, I enjoyed the facts about Harry. How he never took the fame for granted, the ways he kept himself grounded despite the influx of opportunities and money, and how he still loved with all of his heart.

Of course, it didn’t hurt that his fingers were laced in between mine the entire night either. I turned my attention back to the game, realizing that we’d already started on a new round again.

“Look,” Diana said. “I’m just saying that it’s easy to see it’s you when you begin giggling like a little girl, David.”

“Oooh!” Zayn laughed. “She got you there, mate. Drink up.”

David whined for a bit but eventually drank his turn.

“David,” Zayn said. “You’re up.” He grabbed a new card. “I’ve never had a relationship that lasted for longer than six months.”

David burped. “Sorry about that.” He tapped his chin. “I think it’s Diana’s fact.”

“Correct. Diana, drink.” Zayn laughed. “See, you got retribution fast, right?”

Diana smacked Zayn lightly on the shoulder. “Be nice.” She laughed and emptied her glass.

It seemed that the more we played, the bigger sips we took. I’d noticed it with myself, but my slight buzz was nothing compared to Diana’s level of intoxication.

“Guys,” she said. “I think I’m drunk.”

David rubbed her back. “We noticed that three rounds ago, babe.”

She stuck her tongue out at him, which only made him laugh.

“Cami?” Zayn said. “You up for one more?”

“Give it!” I grinned. I was having fun.

“Alright then. One more for Cami.” Zayn took another card and read it. “I have a tattoo for every single one of my family members.”

The image of Harry’s chiseled body was permanently burned on the inner side of my eyelids. Considering the fact that I had seen no tattoos on either Diana or David, I squeezed Harry’s hand. “My guess is on Harry.”
