A/N: You don't have to comment as you read here. It's über short.

As the evening approached, my nerves resurfaces big time. It didn’t make sense to me why I was so nervous: I’d had been on stage with Harry at the karaoke stand—and that was without any practice and warm-up. Plus, I knew everything I needed for tonight. I knew the exact time where Harry would call my name, which steps to take, which note to start on.

I was well-prepared for this. Yet, somehow, my stomach was still churning, my palms sweaty and my heart pounding against my rib cage.

Pacing didn’t help either. Outside, the stadium was slowly filling every seat. I could hear the random high-pitched scream, and the rise in the chatter even from back here.

“Are you okay?”

I turned around to see Harry look at me.

“I guess I’m a bit nervous,” I admitted.

He smiled. “I always get nervous before a show too.”

“Really?” It surprised me. He’d been doing this for so long, and even now, his demeanor didn’t betray any emotions. He seemed cool and relaxed.

“Really.” He leaned in and lowered his voice. “My insides are just a big pile of goo right now.”

I laughed. “What do you do then?”

“Close your eyes,” he said.

My eyebrows shot up, but I obliged. I couldn’t see anything, and somehow, it helped vaguely that I couldn’t see the massive stage in front of me.

“Do you remember when we sang on the street?” Harry’s voice was barely above a whisper, and he was so close his breath tickled my ear.

I nodded. Clearing my throat, I said, “Yes.”

“Now imagine you’re back there. We’re singing together. Nothing frightens you. You don’t think about the crowd, or the contest. You’re completely at ease.”

A slow smile crept onto my face as his words sank in. It was working. I was feeling more and more relaxed with every word he said.

I opened my eyes and turned to him. “Thank you,” I whispered.

“I’ll be right beside you the whole time.” He leaned down and kissed me.

His kiss worked even better than his words. Something in that simple gesture gave me courage, and it made me relax. I felt like I could take on the world.

For now, though. A simple concert was a piece of cake.

A/N: I know, I know. Barely a teaser. But there wasn't anything else to this scene, and I needed to start the next scene at a specific point. You don't have to vote because this is half-assed short upload. It'd still make me happy, though.

Also, I shared some more information about the health thingy I mentioned last update. I know a couple of you was worried you'd caused it, or that it was because of writing. But I promise you it's not. If you want to look, it's on my profile.

So, give a vote, maybe?
