A/N: Please comment as you read. It'll mean the world to me.

The next day, I waited for Zayn in the courtyard. I was there early and passed the time by staring into a nifty sculpture with a reflective surface. It didn’t actually look like anything in particular, but it was interesting to look at. The various pieces of broken mirrors were placed together to show several places of the courtyard.

I walked around it until I found one that showed myself. The sun was behind me, and it almost looked as if I had a halo on top of my head. Bored, I began to make faces.

After staring at my own reflection for the better half of an hour, I had to acknowledge the facts: I couldn’t recognize myself any longer. Too much had already changed from just a week ago.

Apart from the overall changed exterior, I also didn’t feel entirely like myself inside any longer. It felt as if the longer I pretended to be Ludmilla, the more I lost Cami in the process. Before, I’d stayed away from people, choosing to be a loner rather than a socialite. Whenever I actually went out, it was only in rare circumstances, and with the exception of Jackie in England, no one could get me out of my room more than once.

But now? Now I was around people all the time. I even agreed to hang with people after work, and I actually looked forward to it, as well. I made another face to myself. Was I even Cami any longer? It was hard to tell.

“Having fun?” Zayn’s voice came from behind me.

I turned around to face him, pointing at the sculpture. “I just don’t get that piece of art. It’s basically a lot of broken glass put together carelessly.”

He laughed. “I think it’s supposed to make you think about what you see.”

“But it only shows everything.” I frowned.

“Exactly.” Zayn winked. “Are you ready to go?”

I nodded. “I was born ready.”

That made him roll his eyes. We walked together towards the parking lot, and I tried to look around for the big car and driver I’d met a few times before.

“What are you doing?” Zayn asked.

I kept looking. “I’m trying to find the car. Is Carl driving today?”

“Oh. There’s no driver today, except for me.” He held up a key chain, rattling the keys back and forth. “I’m driving today.”

“Should I be afraid?” I narrowed my eyes.

Playing offended, he placed a hand on his chest.. “Of course not. I’m an excellent driver.” He returned the keys to his pocket and started to walk. “At least the voices in my head tell me so.”

I was walking behind him. “Wait—what?”

“Just kidding.”

We walked to the parking lot, and Zayn pressed the lock button on his keys. A loud beep came from my right, behind a huge truck. As I saw the car Zayn was driving, I glanced back at him.

“Not exactly what I was expecting,” I admitted.

The small, vomit-green hybrid-car didn’t exactly fit my mental image of bad boy Zayn.  I’d suspected a sports car or even an enormous death-truck.

He shrugged. “It is a rental, it’s good for the environment, and fans don’t expect it—it’s perfect.” He opened the door for me before walking to the other side.

I sat next to him on the passenger seat. He put the keys in the ignition, and… nothing happened. I was about to ask if something was wrong, when he suddenly rolled out of the parking lot. I widened my eyes; I’d heard that hybrid cars were silent, but I hadn’t expected it to be so quiet.
