A Beautiful awakening (Part 3)
A hovering breeze,
Cold steel pressing her softly -
Her spine stiffening
Unwittingly, she
Had been caught and now her swift
Death, lay awaiting
Standing still, frozen
A dormant glow of essence
Keenly rose from her
Searing radiance
Blinding all, the clang of bleak
Metal giving way
Her skin blushing in
Shadows of ripening green -
Her bones lengthening
Mottled and ailing,
Glossy blossom dappling her
In floral markings
Dropping her eyes and
Delicate flesh ogre ears -
Her huffing breaths clear
White nails - sharp talons,
Scales paving her bony wrists
And small slender neck
Thorny vines - her crown,
Golden eyes of course courage
Opposing her hair
Flame red, her long locks
Branding fire to her strong ire -
Her prey withdrawing
Bowing down sharply
Her figure twisting briskly,
She met her hunter
Strong arms extending
Engaging with one stern look -
Blade and sword clashing
Moments passing by
When his human skin was pierced -
His blood, a river
A falsely bold foe
Deserting his once easy
Prey, bleeding in death
Golden chains of light -
Glory sweeping the tunnels
Her hands moulding steel
Blue Midnight magic
Rekindling her fierce true form
Unsealing tied bonds
Quivering fae wings
And elven story telling
In alluring tones
Hunting near the moon
Of crisp mere mortal kingdoms
In velvet fountains
A past curse broken,
Shackled childhood memories
Of hers awoken.
