Chapter 35: The Transfer Students, Part 2

After fira and nico took their seats, class began. They were being taught once more about the school, its history, it's abilities, and the rankings. After class was over, everyone in the class shrouded around fira and nico.

So how's your first day here, a random kid asked.

So far, I'm doing fine, fira answered. Same here, nico answered.

Where'd you go for your last school, another random student asked. I was homeschooled along with my brother, fira answered once again. I went to a military school in New Jersey, nico answered.

What kind of monsters are you, another random student asked. Fira and nico stayed silent on that question.

I would rather not talk about that, she responded.

I would rather stay silent as well, nico said to them.

Everyone was confused for a second. But then someone got cocky. I bet they're just weaklings who got the wrong classroom, someone said. And whispers soon filled the room. Fira didn't take it very well. Her eyes started glowing, and she shot the person who insulted her with an energy, and he was frozen in a large crystal. He tried to break out, but the crystal was too strong. Everyone backed up in fear, and went to asked nico the question. But they were careful not to make the same mistake the other guy made.

Once someone asked the question, nico gave a death glare, and a powerful aura.

Everyone else backed away and started minding their business. However, our favorite trio on the other hand walked up to nico. He took notice and smiled.

Hey guys, he said in a monotone voice, yet it had joy behind it. Hey nico/ hi nico/ short time no see, they all said at the same time.

I didn't think we'd all be in the same class, nico said surprisingly.

I know it's crazy, aiger joyfully said.

Well, the gang's back together, arlo said. Wanna do something after school, he continued. They all agreed, and started talking. Everyone else was looking at them. They were all surprised that they were talking to him without a problem.

Meanwhile, fira was sitting alone and was talking to no one. She had a lonely expression on her face. This didn't go unnoticed, aiger saw this, and decided to talk to her. Hey aiger, where are you going, nika asked curiously. The group turned to him.

I'm gonna go talk to fira, he answered. She looks lonely, so I'll ask if she wants to be friends, he responded.

His friends nod in agreement. He started walking to her. When he approached her, she looked hesitant to speak, so aiger spoke first. Hi there, I'm aiger akabane, he said in a happy tone.

You look lonely, so I figured you'd like someone to talk to, he continued. She looked surprised, and then spoke. You seem to know how to read emotions, she said. A little, and only a few, he responded.

She giggled after hearing that. They ended up talking for a few seconds, and then he introduced her to his other friends. They noticed that they were about to miss their next class, so nico traveled them through the shadows, and they made it in time.
