Phil's POV
I entered my room and grabbed my camera off of my desk. Pausing, I rolled it over in my hands.
This is the thing that captured so much of the evolution of Dan and I's friendship. And now it was going to capture our relationship too. This is what we used to tell our fans so much over all these years. And now it was time to be honest with them.
It's time.
Traveling back to Dan, I started to set the camera back up on my tripod. Then I sat down next to him and sighed. This was it.
I hit the record button.
"Hello Internet!"
He started.
"Today's video is going to be just a bit different than usual, so just bare with us."
I continued for him.
"So... We actually have some news that we'd like to share with all you lovely people out there."
We both smiled and breathed deeply.
This was a lot scarier than we had thought.
"So... You guys know... That Phil and I have been best friends for over five years now..."
He said, fidgeting.
"But I think it's time we reveal to you that... We're going to need a new intro... So... Hello Internet! I'm here with my..."
He blushed.
"... Boyfriend. Phil Lester."
"Just going to let that sink in."
I said laughing.
"The hearts of a million phangirls just exploded."
He chuckled.
"So yeah, I think it's time you all know that this little bundle of adorable is now the love of my life, so back off, thank you."
He said, leaning his head on my shoulder.
"Well that's pretty much it, you guys... I'm sorry this was so short and stuff but I know most of you enjoyed it quite a lot."
I said.
"Right, haha. So be sure to check out our new gaming channel and all the videos we made there, and if you haven't already, subscribe to my boyfriend by clicking on the link in the description."
There was a pause.
I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
"I love you."
I said quietly.
"I love you too."
He smiled lightly.
Then I reached forward and turned off the camera.
"Well that wasn't that bad, was it?"
He asked.
"Not at all. A little scary, but it felt really good.
He nodded.
I placed my hands on his shoulders and guided his lips to mine.
Electric waves went through me every time.
"Finally."
