A couple weeks later Asia still hasn't told anybody about her pregnancy. She also found out that Josh is set to have 6 months to a year in jail, which Asia was glad about because it was way better than two years.
Asia sat down in front of Josh.
Josh looked at her and grabbed the phone.
Asia grabbed the other phone on the other side.
"You glowing", he said.
"Well.. that's the magic of makeup", she said.
Josh nods and sighs. "I ain't see you in like 5 days", he said.
"Yea I know", she said. "I've been busy with some things"
"Like?", he asked.
"Business. I wanna open up a store, instead of just online", she said. "But im not going to open up the store until after I'm settled in with the baby"
Josh nods. "That's good", he said as he looks at your finger. "Where's your ring?"
"I forgot to put it on this morning before I left", she said.
"Mmm", he said. "Don't go nowhere else unless you put it on".
"Okay", she said.
Josh was noticing a lot about Asia in the past two weeks. She seemed off but he couldn't put his finger on it.
"You okay?", he said. "Nobody messing with you right? Nothing been happening right??"
"No", she said.
"What's up with you??", he asked.
Asia looks down.
"Damn. It's that bad?", he asked. "You ain't do no shit that's gone get you fucked up right"
Asia looks at him like boy if you don't shut up.
"Well, you taking a long time to talk", he said.
Asia looks down again. "We're fine Josh", she said.
"We're?", he questioned. "Me and you"
"No... me and him or her", she said.
Josh sat back in his seat. "You pregnant?", he asked.
Asia nods.
"We're pregnant ?", he asked.
"Yes josh", she said with a slight smile.
Josh looks down. "And I'm in here", he said.
"It's okay", he said.
"Nah, Nah", he said. "I can't deal with that"
"Josh it's okay. Seriously. I'll be fine", she said.
Josh started to rewind in his head when the doctor told them that they had a miscarriage. He started to remind himself that Asia got raped and he couldn't protect her. He was scared of that, if it were to happen again.
Josh nods. "You know what. Imma just call up some of my boys. They can make sure you good", he said.
"No. None of your boys", she said. "We're fine alright"
Josh didn't say anything. "Just call somebody if anything weird is going on"
"Of course baby", she said.
"Imma get out of here before you know it ok", Josh said. "I'm sorry"
"It's okay", she said. "Just be good, maybe you'll get out sooner"
