The UA Sports Festival was only 2 weeks away so the normal lessons were canceled until further notice.

Another day in UA High and Kunoichi wanted to train. At first, she thought of doing it outside of the school premises, but that would be dumb and All Might quoted: possible casualties could be imminent.

It's only been a short time, it's not like the whole of Class 1-A knows her Quirk already. Even though she has yet to rediscover it again. So no, they don't know what her Quirk truly does. Or the name. But it does have something to do with shadows, that's a good clue. And she inherited her father's power so it was painfully obvious. But they've seen snippets of her Quirk around Aizawa but they haven't done any Hero training with her just yet.

She was walking in the faux city of Battleground Beta, which was a much better place to train at.

"Yo, Ojiro! Sero!" She called out, finding the two boys in the neighborhood section. "Let's race, from here to that city 15 blocks away."

"Cool! Can we jump on buildings and stuff?" Sero asked.

"I never said it was a grounded race. I got a stopwatch to time our speed.

Alright. Ready, set, GO!"

LaToya pounced onto the rooftops and with her ninja-like speed, she passed a block in under 2 seconds. Her arms stretched back as she pounced from building to building. Suddenly Sero overlapped her as he flung around the light posts like Spiderman. "You can't outrun me, Kunoichi! I got the finesse!"

"Oh yeah?" The girl smirked and so as she pounced toward an incoming building, after that - she suddenly vanished.

"Ha! Winner!" Sero fist pumped the air.

"Check again, bro."

Hanta turned and noticed Kunoichi leaning on a fence, shaded by a shadow of a tree. As if she was waiting a long time.

"What took you so long?" She mockingly spat before ending the stopwatch, noting her time as 7.5 seconds.

"Huh, a new record. It used to be 10 seconds. But I guess with age, your powers grow too."

"What the! How did you get here so fast?!" Sero shrieked. "I didn't see...so how did---what?!?!"

"You only came by just 5 seconds, not bad." She ended the timer soon as Ojiro arrived last, heaving with bated breath.
