"This is seriously happening?"

Class A was in their PE uniforms, watching their senior giving himself a warmup.

Aizawa agreed for this to happen, without any thought for his students. He agreed that it was a rational way to see what level of training Hero Course's Big Three had gone through compared to the first years. Kunoichi and Todoroki stood beside them as the others were stretching out their arms to fight.

"Oh yeah, it's so real," Mirio replied merrily, stretching his legs.

"Mirio, this is a waste of time," Amajiki muttered from the wall.

Is he always this shy? Toya stared at the bashful third year.

"For the work studies, it would've been enough just to say; this is what it's like...and that's what we've learned from it. Not everyone has your level of drive. No one wants to spend their next years recovering in a hospital bed."

"Huh?!" Mineta flinched in fright.

"I bet he's just trying to sike us out," Kirishima exclaimed.

"Hey, everyone listen up! It's story time!" Hado chirped, bringing the class to her attention while meddling with Ashido's horns. The pinkette squealed uncomfortably. "Long ago, a student got frustrated and then quit being a hero and that became a problem for everyone. Did you know that?"

"So there's a handicap in place," Tokoyami muttered. "However, we've fought with Pros before."

"That's right," Kirishima added and stepped forward, looking serious and brimmed with tenacity. "Not to mention, we've fought villains before. So there's no need to go easy on us. We aren't a bunch of wannabes."

"Hmm," Toya hummed, in which Todoroki perked in curiosity. "Something wrong?"

"It's true that we've all fought villains. But they all have different ulterior motives. And not to mention different fighting styles. I never underestimate my opponent firsthand, but I judge their strengths at how they can adapt. If Togata's the best in the Hero Course, then he must know tactics like that. Just seeing him look so unconcerned just shows he has the one-up on all of y'all."

"So basically you're saying we're going to lose?!" Kaminari shouted. "Man, you seriously have no faith in your classmates?!"

"It's called logic, you Discount Pikachu!"

"Hey, why aren't you even here with us?!" He complained back.

"I got my reasons."

"Woah, for a first year, you already had me figured out! Nice one!" Mirio threw a thumbs up in Kunoichi's way.
