"Let the 8th battle begin!"

As soon as Present Mic shouted the green light, Uraraka dashed towards the explosive teen; with her upper body leaning forward to the ground.

"Wow, look at her go. It's a good strategy, all she has to do is touch him one time and it's all over," said Midoriya. But holding behind his confidence was a bit of doubt. Knowing the capabilities of Bakugou when facing adversaries and the power of his Quirk. He knew it was easier said than done. And how he doesn't hold back and goes full throttle to prove his strength. Which is safe to say is downright terrifying. He didn't expect Uraraka to back down on his ideas - it might mean she needed to have her own set of strategies and not depend on him all the time.

"It won't be that easy," Iida sterned, his arms crossed.

Being one aside Izuku to be seen with Katsuki in action during their Hero combat training back in Ground Beta while back, Ochaco remembered that the ash-blonde constantly starts at the right swing of his hand. As long as she avoids it, she can advance and use her Zero Gravity to float him up.

But before her fingertips could even touch him, his explosions blew up in her face and launched her body several feet away as plumes of smoke and traces of ember fire sparks emitted in the air.

"Uraraka!" Iida and Midoriya shouted in concern. Jiro covered her mouth fearing the worst.

"He blasted her!" Mineta shivered.

"Looks like Bakugou wasn't planning to show any mercy," the frog girl grew more nervous by the minute.

"What gave that away?" The students eyed the grayish-blue-haired student. "That's how he operates, and how we should too. How else are you gonna reach the top?"

Tokoyami glared over at his cousin, seeing a plain neutral face as the match went on. LaToya continued to observe the battle unlike anybody else, ignoring the outside world and focusing on the attacks.

"Stupid! Saw it coming and still, I couldn't get out of the way," Uraraka cursed at herself after a failed attempt. Her heartbeat was already heard in her ears, it was either the start of the adrenaline of the battle or that she was beginning to have doubts. No. She can't think of losing now! She's only just started.

"You won't win this match," Katsuki threatened whilst in the smoke. The smoke screen became the perfect cover for the brunette's next phase of her plan. A figure appeared out of the smoke on the blonde's radar. "Don't underestimate me!" He immediately slammed the figure and thought he pinned the girl down.
