Day 6 - Stranger

Dear Stranger,

I shouldn’t be talking to you! My mum taught me I shouldn’t speak to strangers. That saying has always confused me… I understand why I shouldn’t speak to people I don’t know, but how do you ever get to know someone if you avoid talking to strangers? There are a few people who you may know from birth, but if you never open yourself up to talk to someone you’ve never met before, you’d be living a pretty boring life…

Obviously since you’re a stranger, you know nothing about me apart from what you can see on the outside. And it’s human nature to judge on first impressions, but please don’t judge too much. You can’t judge a book by its cover.

What would you first see when you look at me? Would you see my crazy curly hair? Or my blue eyes? I don’t know!

I can’t really say anything else since the whole point of this letter is that I don’t know you!

Maybe get to know me better… look past everything you see on the outside and give me a chance to let my real personality show!
