Newt request

This imagine is for @TheWolfSecret. Will do my best to make it worth reading and the way you want it to be.

Your POV:

We have been running through the desert for a little while now and ANGST was still after as, after we escaped them with the help of a boy named Aris. At first we all have been hesitant to trust that boy. He was kinda weird almost a little creepy and the way Newt eyed him up and down on our previous little meeting where Thomas told us what he and Aris thought they had seen but that now was not the time to get into further discussion, because we had to get out of that building, showed that he did not trust the new one either.

Now we were out in the scorch and a big sandstorm had been our constant companion. I looked to the right and left side so I would not lose sight of my group especially Newt. Newt and I had been together since the glade and we had started dating a few months prior. Those last few months had been my happiest. I got to date the most handsome and the cutest boy in the whole glade and probably in the whole world and he chose me above everyone else, which made me even happier.

When I looked to my left I could barely make out where he was but I did manage. He was still there. At that I let out a sigh in relief for he did not get lost nor for that matter did I. Out of nowhere I heard Thomas shout " Go go and stay low" Everybody around did just that, for not far away was driving a cart and one of Janson's men. So we robbed over the sand and as soon as we were far away again Teresa, another girl of our glade, and I stood up and ran.

We ran until we found something that looked like a roof of a house which stuck out of the sand. Just as I was about to step foot in, someone grabbed my hand and pulled me back. I looked up and looked into the face of my beautiful boyfriend who had pulled me close to him. We turned away from each other slightly, when we heard the rest of the group shout, just to see hoe Teresa went into said house and Thomas right behind her. Of Course he was going to follow her and now everybody else followed the two of them, shouting for Thomas to stop.

All the while Newt did not let go of my Hand and when we came to a stop, everyone looked around in awe, not knowing what this strange place was. When everyone was ready staring, Thomas wanted us to get moving again, but Teresa and I blocked. " No Thomas, stop!" Teresa said quite loudly before I added " Tell us what is going on!" Thomas walked closer to us his eyes on Teresa. Then he said something I didn't know was possible.

" It's WCKD, it always had been WCKD. We never escaped them." Newt and I shot each other nervous glances while he squeezed my hand tightly but reassuringly. Minho made a step towards Thomas, an expression of distrust clearly visible on his face, as he questioned him, with a somewhat outraged tone. " So you mean it's still them? Is it what he told you?" Minho points at Aris. Thomas shook his head before he said calmly. " No Minho, it's what we saw. But there is also something else I must tell you."

Teresa and I exchanged a worried glance, while Newt approached Thomas now, but more calmly than Minho did, just seconds ago. " What Thomas? Tell us!" I could filter out the quite aggressive tone in his voice and made a step towards Newt and took his Hand in mine, giving him a reassuring squeeze and he seemingly calmed down. Thomas looked somewhat shocked at his best friend's outburst before he continued.

" Ava Page. She isn't dead. She is still very much alive and it's her who is all behind this. She works with Janson." The relization hit us hard but Minho and Newt confronted Thomas more as they both grew hectic and panicked. " What do you mean? We saw her die!" Newt pushed on, but this time it was not Thomas who answered, but it was Aris. " We saw her. She talked with Janson and they came to get us, that's why we had to flee."

Thomas gave an agreeing nod and told everyone. " And there were bodies everywhere. They were hung up by their necks." " You mean there were corpses?" Minho asked shocked while I felt up my neck, only to see Teresa do the same and I shot her a questioning glance to which she just shrugged with her shoulders, while the conversation in front of us continued. " Okay and what's the plan?" Newt asked Thomas who looked somewhat lost.

" Wait you mean you've got no plan?! Thomas we followed you out here and now you tell us you have no plan to where we have to go?!" Newt continued, still outraged. Now everyone was quiet for a little while, no sounds were made, before Aris spoke up again. " They said something about people living in the mountains." " The safe haven." Thomas continued confidently. " Mountain people? That's your plan?" Newt asked suspiciously.

" That's our only chance." Thomas said calmly, making Newt sigh and nod his head unwillingly and everybody else agreed. We turned around when we heard Winston say. " Guys look at this." Everybody kneeled down to see what Winston was pointing to and on the ground were several footprints and other traces. " Somebody had been down here." He continued his suspicion. Curiously I stood up and made my Forwards, wanting to find out who else is down here.

When I felt a tug on my hand I turned around to see Newt next to me holding my Hand. I shot him a weary smile which he returned and now everyone was following us. After looking around for some time, Minho found a passageway with a gate like door. He called us all over and together we opened that gate and went into a left room. Everywhere stood different Things. It looked kinda scary to be honest and everywhere was dust.

It almsot looked like a grave and suddenly I had a very bad feeling about this all. " Well Minho and I will have a look around, you guys stay here and watch out for thing we could need." Thomas said and everyone gave their agreement and so Minho and Thomas got on their way, while the rest of us stayed here. I looked around and somewhere in the back a little farther away from the others I found a box with clothes in them.

" Hey guys. Look what I found." I called over to them. When they heard me they came over to me and Newt wrapped one of his arms around my waist and asked in his sweet british Accent with a quiet laugh. " What did you find, love?" " Have a look and you will find out Newtie." I said teasingly, making everybody around us grown which led to me giggling my ass off. Just as the words had left my mouth everyone's eyes fell into the box.

Inside were several clothing items. For men and woman. Obviously somebody must've lived down here a while ago. Everybody took some clothes out and the boys took a few feet away from us to change and only when they were done and busy looking for helpful items Teresa and I turned our backs to the boys and began to change our clothes. That way we didn't see how Fry got a little distracted by us and he began staring at us.

The only one who saw that was Newt and a knowing smile formed on his face before he gently turned Fry's face away from us and whispered so we couldn't hear a thing. " No staring at my girlfriend shank." That made Fry blush a Little and he turned away while Newt stood up, clapped Fry onto the shoulder and made his way over to me after Teresa had left to somehere else and grabbed me around the waist and pulling me into a kiss.

After a while I pulled away and smiled at Newt. " And what was that for?" I asked slightly teasingly. " Am I not allowed to kiss my beautiful girlfriend when I want to?" He asked back, making me laugh quietly before I mumbled. " Jealous much, hm?" Then I pulled him into another kiss, making him smirk against my lips. This time we had seperate due to somebody's screaming.
