Ambers POV:

Hello guys my name is Amber and now I want to tell you something about my life. Everything started in the glade. I was send up after my brother. His name is Minho and he is everything I still have.

The memories I had before the maze aren't there anymore. They got wiped out of my brain somehow. So I don't know what happened before my time in the maze.

I have been in that maze for a long long time now. I think it came up to almost three years now. I had gone through quite a lot. Some things of them were pretty and good and some where just horrific.

I made new memories I would remember forever and I made new friends. I even met the love of live I never knew I would meet. But now back to present right?!

It was a normal day just every other day before. I was working as a Track-hoe with my boyfriend Newt. We had been together for over a year now and soon our anniversary was coming up.

Anyway we were working along with some of our friends when Thomas ran towards us screaming for help. Newt and I shot each other confused but also worried glances.

So we ran towards him to help him when I saw Ben following Thomas and bringing him to fall and land on Thomas. Thomas tried to get up and ran away but Ben wouldn't have it and kept Thomas pinned to the ground.

Newt went to get a spate. He told me to wait for him and not to do anything until he was back. But I couldn't watch Thomas getting hurt any more as he was one of my closest friends.

I ran towards Thomas and pulled Ben off of Thomas and punched Ben on the nose. When he fell to the ground I quickly grabbed Thomas arm and helped him up again.

But as we were to take off I felt something grab my ankle. Looking downwards I saw Ben held onto my ankle pulling me down next to him.

With a pleading look on my face I told Thomas to run and get help as quick as he could. Then happened something I never thought Ben would do.

He pulled out a knife and cut my right arm first. I bit my lip hard preventing myself from crying out loud in pain. As his shirt rose I could see that he was stung.

" he was stung, so he doesn't know what he is doing right now" I thought to myself and that made me even more sad. After a few more cuts to my wrist and upper legs I could someone call my name.

But I couldn't scream it would make Ben only more angry so I kept quiet and let him do his assault on me. My vision slowly began to fade away and I saw black dots dancing in front of my eyes.

Then before I fell unconscious I felt how the weight of Ben was lift off of me and someone picked me up mumbling to me to stay awake. But I was exhausted and soon fell unconscious due to the blood loss.

In the dream:

I saw my younger self walking around a beautiful place, it must've been my favourite place from before the maze. And a person was walking next to me. He was quite tall for his age and had sandy blond hair.
