Greetings, I'm Des. M. Astor.
Authors should pick me as a reviewer if they want commentary on their character arcs and world-building.

I've written four urban fantasy novels at over 100,000 words each, and I love to fall in love with characters. I want to care about what they do and why they go about their actions in the world you build. I try to go into detail about what I simply adore in your works. If something doesn't feel quite right, I can point out why I feel something is off and suggest a possible alternative route for it. I'm pretty nitpicky when it comes to grammar and spelling--but I can turn that off entirely if you're not looking for edits like that. However, I'm also fully capable of editing things like that, if it's helpful!

In summary: If you want detailed feedback down to some of the specific aspects of your story I'll point out, chapter by chapter, I'm a good choice. I know how important it is to get more than just "I like this chapter!" No, you want to know WHY I like it!

I've designed some of my own covers aside from the one I got painted art for and have examples. I use ribbet. Nothing fancy. Typically I modify pixabay pictures. I don't get much feedback on how my covers look, though, so I'd need to set up an examples page. That aspect I'd be entirely new in but willing to consider if people like my stuff.

Fantasy almost exclusively (Can be urban, high, doesn't matter really)!
It can have sci-fi elements, but not be purely sci-fi. Unless your story is robot or cyborg based scifi.
NO ALIENS (unless, again, fantasy elements). Cyberpunk is fine(again, with fantasy elements).
I especially enjoy Vampires books, but Paranormal is generally fine.
I specialize in dragons.

I also write erotica and am fully willing to read it too, including BDSM stuff.

LGBT+ I'm perfectly open for anywhere, mature themes included as well (though, being straight, I might not give the best advice on sex scenes in that manner unless I do research, but I can definitely read it and give a thumbs up for descriptions!)
