⚠ Dan ⚠

*Ben's POV*

"No."

"Ben..." Ruby started.

"No. She's not gone. Beverly motherfucking Marsh was not taken by that asshole. It. Didn't. Happen. She's not gone." I glared, feeling tears prick my eyes. "She can't be..."

Bill hugged me tightly. I cried into his arms and hugged back, shaking.

"Listen," Mike said, his voice shaking. "We're gonna find them. Stan and Richie and Eddie and Bev and anyone else Dan took. W-"

"You think Dan took someone else? Someone that's not in the friend group?" Emily asked, getting more worried. "Would he do that?"

"I don't Em..." Ruby whispered to her and held her tightly.

I want to hold Bev like that. I want her back. She has to be ok.

"Listen," Mike started. "I'm sure everyone's fine. I'm going to go to the police station to file a missing persons report. You guys stay here and try to think of where they could be."

I nodded and sat down on the couch. I put my head in my hands and starting crying, feeling Bill wrap his arm around my shoulder.

"We're gonna find them," Bill whispered. "And everything will be ok again."

*Bev's POV*

"Baby?!" Richie whisper-yelled. "Wh-what the fuck are y-y-you talking about?!"

I closed my eyes tightly and held my stomach as another pain washed over me.

"This isn't my specialty, but I worked with pregnancies for a little while. I can try and figure out what's going on." Annie suggested. I nodded and layed down next to her.

Annie started feeling around my stomach, which hurt like a motherfucker. While she looked me over, I heard Eddie and Richie talking quietly to each other.

"Eddie pl-please...you g-gotta do it, for m-m-me." Richie pleaded.

"I'm not leaving you, any of you!" Eddie argued back.

"No. Y-you have t-t-to go so that you can f-find the others and tell th-them where we are. With my l-legs, Bev's baby and Stan p-p-passed out, Annie is the o-only other person who c-could do this. And sh-she wouldn't kn-kn-know where to go to f-find the Losers, o-ok?" I could tell Richie was crying as he talked to Eddie. "Love, you h-have to do it."

"I know..." Eddie whimpered. "I just don't want to leave you with him. He's my ex, you guys shouldn't have to deal with whatever he does to you..."

"Th-that's my Eddie S-Spaghetti," Richie laughed. "Always worrying a-about his friends."

I chuckled too. "Seriously Eddie, we'll be ok. But you have to go, ok? The next time Dan opens that door, you take off. Run upstairs and out the door. We'll distract Dan so he doesn't chase after you."

"What if-" Eddie started before we all hear a man's muffled screaming from upstairs.

"You shouldn't have tried to go to the police..." I heard Dan's gruff voice mumble.

Richie to Eddie and nodded. Eddie looked terrified, but he nodded back.

As soon as the door opened, we were met with Dan and Mike. Eddie froze for a second before bolting up the stairs. Dan quickly threw Mike down and tried to grab Eddie, but Richie grabbed a rock from the grimy floor and threw it upstairs. It hit Dan straight in the face, causing him to stumble back.

Just enough time for Eddie to escape.

*Eddie's POV*

'Damn it, where's an inhaler when you need one...' I thought to myself as I sprinted down a winding dirt road. There's nobody in sight. Dan wasn't even keeping us in a house, it was a big storage unit area.

Once I was far enough away, I slowed down to a walk. I felt my breath getting faster and faster. I was already panting from running so much, but now with an impending panic attack, I really can't breathe.

I kept walking for a while before completely collapsing on the road. I had finally gotten to a main road, and I could see some cars up ahead. I waited for someone, anyone, to notice me.

And after a while, someone did.

I was fading in and out of consciousness when I saw a group of people walking over to me.

"Kid? Kid, can you hear me?" One of them asked. I grunted in response, not having enough energy to actually talk.

"We have to call someone, right?" Another whispered. "Like, the police or an ambulance?"

I whispered Bill's phone number.

"What did you say?" The first one asked.

I said it louder. The second one understood and called his number, putting him on speaker phone.

"D-Denbrough-Uris h-house, it's Bill."

"Hi, uh Bill? My name's Kaity Franklin, I found someone on the side of the road. He keeps passing out, but he told me to call you. Short brown hair, pretty small, says his name is...uh one second." Kaity turned to me. "What's your name?"

"Ed..." I whispered.

"Ed," she said into to the phone. I heard Bill and a couple people start yelling happily. I smiled to myself weakly.

Kaity gave the address to Bill while the guy, Jackson, started cleaning my wounds with a first aid kit from his car. It's not as impressive as mine, but it'll have to do for now.

I finally started coming to. Jackson smiled at me and gave me more water. I took it gratefully, thanking him.

"It's no problem," Jackson smiled again. "Your friends are gonna be here in a couple minutes, do you think you can wait for them?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I'm ok now."

"Can I asked what happened...?" A girl next to Kaity asked shyly.

I looked down. "You know how Daniel Pennwell got out of prison?"

"Wait a minute...you're Edward Kaspbrak!" Kaity gasped. "You're all over the news! I knew you looked familiar..."

"Oh my gosh, you must know where Richard and Beverly and Annie and Stanley are too!" A different boy yelled.

"I was really disoriented walking here, but I'd probably know the way." I nodded.

"I'm gonna call the police, maybe they can get the others out today!" Kaity said excitedly.

"No need," someone behind the group said. "We've already got back up."

Everyone moved away. Bill, Ben, Ruby and Emily were standing there, dozens of police cars behind them.
