I'm the CEO of forgetting I'm writing this story 🥰✨

*Richie's POV*

"Rich..." I heard someone whisper, and I felt my shoulder being nudged softly. "You gotta wake up."

I opened my eyes slowly, and looked at Eddie standing above me.

"H-Hey baby," I mumbled and sighed. "Did I p-p-pass out?"

Eddie nodded and bit his lip. I saw tears sparkling in his eyes, threatening to spill. I reached up and brushed his cheek softly.

"What's wr-wrong, darling?" I asked quietly.

He sighed and climbed into the bed next to me. "I got scared, and wanted to be with you..." Eddie admitted quietly.

"That's ok, I'm a-always gonna be h-here for you, Eddie Sp-Spaghetti." I kissed his forehead gently and let him lean on my chest. Right now, I only had an IV on my left hand, so Eddie easily tucked himself against my right side to avoid the tube.

"The doctor said you might have more...fits. The bullet messed up your brain really badly. We almost have your stutter gone, but you still can't walk, and now you're having trouble with this too and I-... I feel responsible." Eddie's voice lowered on the last sentence and his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"Eds, i-it's not your fault D-Dan did what he did. Ev-Everyone is safe now, a-and none of us blame y-you," I kissed him again. "It's ok E-Eddie."

He gave me a small, crooked smile and leaned up against me. "Things will go back to normal now, right?"

"Right." I promised.

I looked out the small window in my room and saw a ray of sunshine slowly coming in.

"It's sunrise, d-did you get a-any sleep last night, Eds?" I asked and ran my hand threw his hand.

"A little bit," he sighed. "I kept waking up, but Mike helped me fall back to sleep whenever I did."

I hummed in response and closed my eyes. We layed there for who knows how long before I heard someone opening the door.

My doctor came in, followed by the rest of the Losers. Bill helped Stan limp his way in, followed by Bev and Ben. Mike came in next, and I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows when I saw that Annie was holding his hand and had her head resting on his shoulder. Emily and Ruby finished off the bunch, and I almost immediately notices their matching diamond rings that weren't there before.

"We thought since Stan, Bev and Richie can't leave, we should bring the Loser's Potluck to them!" Ben smiled happily, and held up a small basket.

Eddie gasped as his eyes lit up, and he wiggled out from under the blanket to see what everyone brought. They all grabbed chairs, and sat around my bed.

"I made rolls this morning!" Ben put the basket down, and the smell of the warm dough made my mouth water.

"I made chicken and dumpling soup," Emily set a pot down on the table next to me. "Ruby helped too, she cut up all the veggies!"

"I helped Mike make a kugel," Annie gave a soft smile and put a deep dish pan next to Emily's pot. "My grandma's recipe."

"You made a fucking kugel?!" Stan  practically yelled. "Sorry Bill, but Annie's my new favorite person. I haven't had it since I left my parents, and they're sooo fucking good."

"Trust me, you'll like this one- I put in extra cinnamon." Annie bragged.

"Raisins?"

"What kind of a kugel would it be without raisins?"

"I'm not Jewish and I feel excluded." Bill frowned.

"Sucks to suck, babe." Stan kissed his cheek gently and laughed.

"Well I went out this morning and rented a bunch of bad movies to make fun of!" Bill grinned and pulled out 2 movies.

Mike picked one up and eyed it suspiciously. "What's 'Striptease'?"

"Came out last year, won 6 awards," Stan held back a laugh. "Worst Picture, Worst Actress, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Couple."

"Holy shit," Bev shook her head, smiling. "The fucking 'Flintstones' movie?" She laughed and held up another movie.

"This is g-gonna be f-f-fucking awesome," I started cracking up and turned on the TV.

Short chapter because ✨ I'm a fucking idiot ✨ and I wanted to just get a chapter out before everyone cancels me
