"Jian Yi...wake up-"

"Urgh..."

"Wake up, idiot!"

"Shut up! Let me sleep some more!"

Jian Yi heard silence. Smiling to himself, he snuggled closer in his arms until he heard a few giggles and opened his eyes.

He was met with a large figure staring down at him with beady eyes.

And the first thing that came to his mind was, "...raccoon?" He looked at his teacher with squinted eyes, he never noticed it before, but his teacher had the face of a raccoon.

"Excuse me? That's it, detention!" The teacher exclaimed in an loud voice, startling all the students as Jian Yi rose up and stretched his arms.

"Jian Yi, you dumbass, I told you to wake up." Zhan Xi stared at his friend with an upset expression.

"I was having a crazy dream, XiXi-" the blonde bursted with energy, ignoring his friends sigh and dramatically making hand gestures to explain his dream.

Zhan Xi could either listen to his friends dream about a raccoon army fighting in a cyborg war.

Or

He could pay attention to the history teachers lecture.

Well, he wrote notes off the board and listened contently to his friends rant, he was always passionate when talking, Zhan Xi admired that most about him.

"And THEN- it turned out his father was the cyborg leader!" Jian Yi bounced in his seat, only to look straight forward when the teacher turned around at the noise.

When the teacher saw nothing suspicious, he returned to writing more notes and explaining them to the class.

Jian Yi immediately turned to his right to face Zhan Xi and smiled widely, "so whad'ya think?"

Zhan Xi kept his hand writing as he glanced towards his friend, and looked up in thought, "the cyborg leader could be lying. The raccoon had him at his mercy, he would say anything to live." He explained calmly as always.

Yes, he actually listened to the crazy dream, it was entertaining, not because he found the story interesting (he's more into mystery) but because it was stupid and it was interesting to watch the blonde talk.

4pm

Every student had now finished class and were on their way home or on their way to hang out at the mall.

Zhan Xi found himself with his usual group of... 'friends'.

He and Jian Yi were on the same team for basketball, up against He tian and Mo guan again.

They had been playing for only ten minutes and already they were out of breath. He tian and Jian Yi then started to argue, because apparently He tian punched his face and that was against the rules.

meanwhile, Mo took the opportunity to score some points, Zhan Xi was wiping his forehead as he noticed a girl coming his way.

Once she was right in front of him, he looked at her with an unknown stare.

"Uhm, hi? Are you busy right now? Uhm, after this game that is-" the girl had short hair and was short in height too, she also hanged with the popular girls in the school.

Not that he would know. He didn't keep up with the schools 'hierarchy'.

Zhan Xi looked over at Jian Yi, trying to remember if they made plans, only to realise the blonde had detention soon.

"I'm not." He answered truthfully.

"Great! Did you maybe want to go out for Uhm, coffee? Or tea? Whichever you prefer!" She giggled softly and placed a strand of hair behind her ear.

Zhan Xi, didn't know what to say, but he did know that girls get extremely sad when they are rejected. He learnt after his sister cried a whole two weeks when her crush liked another girl.

He scratched behind his neck shyly and nodded in acceptance, "Sure."

The girl beamed in excitement and giggled more, this time attracting the others attention.

"Oh? Would you look at that? Zhan Xi has an admirer?" He tian had the blonde in a headlock and started to analyse the situation before him.

Jian Yi simply stared at the two and then elbowed He tian, wiggling out of the grip.

"Eh? Who is she?"

He tian shrugged before folding his arms across his chest, "how do you feel? Knowing Zhan Xi could possibly like her back?"

Jian Yi stared silently before looking away, "then that's great." The blonde then ran up to Mo and snatched the ball, earning a new nickname,

"DUMB SHIT!" The red head shouted.

He tian scoffed at the lack of reaction, watching Jian Yi,

"How boring."
