⏪ Back in Time! (HELP!) [Sakura Timetravel AU]

39: Where it All Started

Sakura slowly opened her eyes, she blinked profusely when the bright light of the room shined on her face. She slowly turned her head around the room to see where she was.

How did I get here?
A lady with a white outfit and a board for writing notes opened the door to the room, the lady looked surprised to see Sakura awake.

"Oh! You're awake already? That's great let's run some tests!" Sakura closed her eyes and let out a deep breath.
I'm....I'm in a hospital.

"Oi, Sakura it's me. I came to check up on you." Sakura turned her head to look at Kakashi. Sakura blinked drowsily and rubbed her eyes, she noticed that he was covered with bandages.

"Oh no... Did something happen to the other ninjas?" Kakashi shook his head, "They have many broken bones and sprained areas but they are doing fine. They took care of Orochimaru when you knocked him out."

Sakura looked at Kakashi with confusion, "I knocked him out?..." Kakashi nodded, "You were very powerful, there was so much chakra inside of you it was overwhelming."

Sakura stared blankly into space, Kakashi shuffled in his seat, "I think I remember that there were black lines all over your body, and there was also a purple diamond seal on your forehead. This reminds me of Tsunade, did you receive any training from her?" Sakura slowly reached up to touch her forehead with her shaking arms. Kakashi shook his head again, "The seal was gone soon after we took you to the hospital."

A flashback of the conversation between her and Tsunade came into her memory, Sakura gasped. She felt her stomach drop and a queasiness erupted in her chest. She started to sniffle.

"T-Tsunade...she's gone! She's gone because I was too weak!" Tears fell down like waterfalls from Sakura's eyes, she let out raspy sobs. Kakashi patted her on the head, "Sakura, what are you crying about? Tsunade is still alive.." Sakura immediately sat up, "Wh-" but before she could finish her sentence her body was jarred with pain.

Sakura let out a strangled scream as she fell on the bed spasming in pain, she tried healing herself but it wouldn't work. Kakashi stood up from his chair, "Sakura? Sakura are you okay? That's it, I'm calling a doctor!" He turned around and opened the door, Sakura could see him shouting down the hall at someone.

A wave of drowsiness overcame her, and Sakura felt like somebody was trying to pull her brain out of her head. Sakura let out a gargled shriek as her bodies chakra began piling up inside her head. She lost all feelings in her body and she could only think. Sakura saw flashes of Young Sakura's consciousness before her vision went dark.

Sakura sucked in one deep breath and then succumbed to a deep slumber.

Sakura woke up with a startling headache, she slowly blinked open her eyes. She tried to push herself up but was met with the shocking sensation of a cold, wooden floor. She gasped and sat up, "Wait! Where am I?! What happened?" Sakura clutched her head in pain when a shocking wave of pain washed over her.
She groaned and got onto her knees when she looked up again she saw a reflection. She blinked once, she blinked twice, and then she screamed.

"NANIIIIIIIII?!?"

She grabbed her hand and looked intensely at it and then she looked back at the mirror. She scrambled backward and got up on her feet, too shocked to even notice the aching pain throughout her body.
She slowly raised her shaking arm to point at the mirror, "N-No way, could it...could it be??" She slapped her hands on her cheeks and looked down at her chest, "OH MY GOD!"
