"I fucking love these pancakes" Wes days after he swallows and before putting more in.
Don't turn that dirty.
"Me too" I kiss his head as I sit in front of him. "So what're the plans today?"
He gives me that cute little smile that he does when he has something planned. "I'm gonna take you somewhere I search about on the way here"
"Ooo, where?" I ask before chewing.
"It's a surprise, but you're gonna love it! I hope... I really hope you do!" he starts to stress.
I playfully roll my eyes and kiss him, cuff his cheek with my right hand. "I love anywhere I go as long as I'm with my boy"
"I can't wait" he blushes.
"Me neither!" I hold his hand.

"That's a pretty street cat" Wes says as we get in the car.
"We should adopt one! You know, from the shelter! Our home's missing something, why don't we get a pet? It would be good company" I hold his hand.
"I'm down for that! I used to always want a cat! But I've never had pets, not even a fish" he rolls his eyes.
"Well, you're with me now. We used to have a dog named Clover, but she passed away eight years ago. She was our protector, a pit bull actually, but she wasn't aggressive. Just loved mom and I and was very protective" I look out of the window.
"Oh yeah, you told me about her a few years ago. What did she loop like?" Wes asks as he drives.
I pull out my phone and let go of his hand. "Let me see if my mom still has that picture on her facebook. Babe, she was so pretty!"
"Like you" he winks.
I playfully roll my eyes and scroll through mom's facebook.
I do so for a minute before finding the picture.
"This was her" I smile, holding up my phone.
