Have you ever felt like you were drifting away from your body?

Like you're seeing yourself from above, you're obviously yourself but you're not..

Yeah I feel that all too quite often

My dreams are always vivid and bright, but that doesn't mean they're happy and fun ones.

Mostly I'm underwater, screaming for help but nobody is there to hear me

I'm never inside my body, I'm watching from a distance but I can't save myself

I just keep going farther down before I can't see myself

I'm losing myself

I'm lost.

*ring ring ring..*

I've never hated an alarm more, but it's already the seventh one I've missed.

It's already twelve, I'm already running behind

Mom probably went to go get breakfast with the kids.

I'll hurry and get dressed before she gets back

"We leave in ten everyone!" My mother yelled from the bathroom

She was busy making sure she looked perfect, she's always worried about her appearance.

I don't think there hasn't been a day that she went outside without makeup or her hair done.

I was sitting on the bed scrolling through this new app that I downloaded

It was called taktok?

Nope it's called tiktok.

My friend made me download it, he said he's pretty popular on it or something.

I'll have to ask for his username later or maybe I will happen to run across his account.

The videos on there are pretty funny, everyone is so good looking and I'd never be able compete.

I'll probably just watch videos and not make them, I don't have enough confidence to do that.

"Let's roll out guys, it's now or never." My mom said as she grabbed her bag

We all followed her into the car she had rented.

Los Angeles was like a dream, it was completely gorgeous.

People walking everywhere but traffic was long

It took about twenty minutes to get us to the hospital where the doctor was.

It was a big hospital that looked expensive.

More than we could ever pay, maybe he offered to take me as a patient.

We'd never have enough money to come here

It would look good on the doctor if he's able to cure my cancer.

Insurance isn't covering this because he's not my doctor.

Mom went to talk to the receptionist while the kids sat on the chair.

I quickly found a coffee machine, can't survive my day without it.

It's probably really unhealthy how much coffee I really drink.

A young looking boy walked into the hospital, he was roughly around my age or so.

He obviously worked here because of the outfit he was wearing.

Dark blue scrubs.

He talk to the lady at the desk then walked towards me

"The best creamer is on the left." He said as he grabbed a cup and began pouring it

"The other one is cheaper and doesn't have much of a flavor." He said as he picked it up

"French vanilla?" I asked

He poured his cup and began walking away

"Trust me." He said with a wink

He had darker hair, green or blue eyes I think.

I couldn't tell exactly.

The tag on his shirt said Griffin, that's probably his name.

he was definitely way taller than me, he's probably 6 foot

I poured the French vanilla creamer into the cup, it smelt like vanilla ice cream really.

It tasted even better in the coffee

Guess he knows his coffee or something

typically I'd go with unflavored creamer, I didn't want my coffee too sweet

I walked towards the front desk where my mom still was

She was filling out some documents about me before the appointment

She finished in about five minutes and we sat back with jace and Layla.

We had about fifteen minutes until the appointment so we waited.

A nurse walked out into the waiting room and called for us, we all followed her back into the hallways.

We eventually got to an office that was really big, two other people were in the room with the doctor.

A girl, probably an intern because she was wearing light blue scrubs and that boy.

Griffin

He smiled towards me as we sat down

He stood behind me and the other girl was next to him

He leaned down

"Use the creamer?" He asked

I nodded and said "you were right, it is pretty good."

He quickly laughed and stood back up

The doctor began talking

I don't even know if griffin likes coffee lmao, hope he does..

I wasn't gonna make them meet in this chapter but I didn't wanna hold it off any longer.

Next chapter we get to meet her friend that lives in LA, so that's exciting

yes it's a famous tiktok boy, no I haven't decided who yet
