(Valia's pov)
I quickly ran downstairs, I had to tell mom that he was joining us.
"Ma!" I yelled
"What? What!?" She said as she jumped a bit
"No running in the house and no running for you at all!" She sternly said
"Okay okay."
"My friend is coming to dinner." I said
"Oh what's her name?" She asked
"His name is nick." I said as I laughed a bit
Her face started turning red.
"Boyfriend?" She asked
"No- no! He's just a friend." I quickly said
She let a quick breath and said "okay, when will he be over?"
"Lets say 6:30" I yelled as I walked back upstairs
I quickly got in the shower, I was very nervous about this.
I wasn't sure what what happen or what mom would ask.
once I got out I quickly got dressed.
I was seriously in there for an hour?!
I walked to my mirror and began doing my makeup, I didn't go too heavy but enough for me to look alive.
I'm gonna have to get new foundation, I'm not that pale anymore.
I finished that and began on my hair

I decided it was best to come early, she said six thirty but I want to make a good impression.
I walked up to her door and knocked
A few moments passed before the door opened
"Hello." The woman said with a smile
"Hey, I'm nick."
"Valia's friend." I said as I held out my hand
She pushed my hand away and hugged me
"You're the one making my baby happy!" She said
I let out a breath before hugging back
"Yeah, I guess I am." I replied
"Come in!" She said as she moved back
I walked in
"Valia! Your friend is here!" Her mother yelled
I heard a shriek before she said "okay ma! One minute."
"You have a beautiful home Mrs Miller." I said
"Oh please, call me liane."
"Thank you though, the kids helped me decorate." She said
"Laila! Jack! Come meet our guest for dinner." She yelled
Feet tumbled down the stairs finally met with two faces.
"Are you Vali's boyfriend?!" The girl said as she ran to me
"No I'm not, we're just friends." I said
Liane walked into the kitchen, probably to finish cooking
"I like your hair." The boy said
"Thanks, you have a cool shirt on." I said
"You like Minecraft?" He asked
