(Val's pov)

I just stared at the screen, some comments are repeated.

I reread the words over and over, tears started to fall.

I didn't make a sound, nor move.

I just let them run down my cheeks..

(Nick's pov)

I tired going to sleep, but I couldn't knowing that Val might read the comments.

I pretended to not know that her video blew up, I wanted her to be excited.

I read the comments on her videos, I've dealt with it before and I didn't want her to face this hurt alone.

I tired to warn her from this, I never wanted her to have to deal with it.

It's from jealous 12 year olds, who are probably obsessed with me or other boys on the app.

They don't understand that their words hurt.

If I could take away the pain she'll have once she reads their words, I would.

In a heartbeat.

I'd give it to myself, if she never had to deal with that.

I heard a slight sniff, I could tell she didn't want me to hear her.

I could feel her body shift away from me, she laid down facing away.

I sighed

I then rolled over and hugged her back.

She didn't move or react, she kept looking at her phone.

I reached over and slowly grabbed it.

Her sobs got louder as time passed

"I'm sorry Val.." I mumbled into the darkness

She rolled over and snuggled her head into my shoulder.

I could feel her tears go down my chest.

After an hour of crying she finally passed out.

I held onto her tightly, I never wanted to let her go.

I don't want anything else to hurt her, as long as she's right here nothing will.

"I'm so sorry, princess." I said as I kissed her forehead.

"Hey guys, were leaving in-" chase said as he walked into the bedroom

"Shit sorry guys." He quickly said

Nick stretched his arms and said "it's alright man, where y'all going?"

"Meeting fans down by Starbucks." He said

The sun was shining brightly, it had to of been 7 or 8.

"I think Val and I are gonna go see some other creators." He said

"Ah okay, message if y'all need anything or if you wanna meet up." He said as he closed the door

I giggled quietly

"What's so funny hm?" He asked

"How close we are."

"And chase walking in on us being this close." I said as I laughed harder

His face got red and quickly backed up a bit

"No no!" I yelled as I pushed myself closer to him

"I'm not ready to let go, just yet." I said as I hugged him
