Radagast and I shoot out of the forest. Wargs begin to chase after us. "Come and get me! Ha Ha!" Radagast cries cheerfully.

"You just wish you could get me!" I yell back at our pursuers. We keep on leading the wargs farther away from the company, hopefully. We are going in bizarre patterns to mess with them.

As we are running I hear an orc screech. All of the orcs turn and look and I and Radagast do the same. Then I see the company running towards the hidden passage, courtesy of Gandalf.

But then the orcs start to follow them and I look at Radagast. He gives me a slight nod and yells, "Go and save them, Evie!"

"Thanks, Radagast!" I yell back while riding towards where the company is. I see them all get their weapons out and ready when orcs come.

I make a dramatic entrance by standing on top of Midnight's back, shoot an arrow at an orc, and then backflip off and land on my feet and slowly lookup. All of the dwarves cheer.

I run over to Kili and tell him to ready his bow. He does and together we shoot the orcs. I soon switch over to my sword because the orcs were getting closer.

"Where is the wizard?" Dwalin asked yelling.

"Here you fools!" Gandalf said suddenly. I turn and look at him, he was standing in the hidden passage. Thorin is going to be so pissed I thought smirking.

They all run toward the rock where Gandalf was at. I look back and see Kili still shooting at the orcs. Then I see an arrow flying towards him.

"NO!" I push Kili out of the way taking the arrow straight to my shoulder.

I grab him up, ignoring the pain in my shoulder, pushing him toward the others. We get to the hole and I make sure that Kili slides down first. Then I slide down after him.

Gandalf and the others see me, and the arrow in my shoulder. "Evelyn what on earth did you get yourself into?"

"I saw an arrow heading toward Kili so I pushed him out of the way of it."

"But you could've gotten yourself killed." Scolded Bilbo.

"Well I'm still here aren't I?" I snap the arrow by the shaft and leave the arrow tip in so I don't bleed out. Then an elvish horn sounds. Something came tumbling down the hole. It was an orc with an arrow sticking out of his chest.

"Elves," Thorin said, analyzing the arrow he pulled out of its corpse.

Dwalin walks over to where the pathway is "I cannot see where the pathway leads. Do we follow it or no?" he asked.

"Follow it of course," Bofur said.

"I think that would be wise" Gandalf replied.

They start to go down and follow the path, I waited, nodding at Kili and he nodded back. I started to walk but was pulled back by Thorin.

"Thank you, for saving Kili, even if it meant harming yourself." He leaned down and kissed my hand before heading down the path.

I realized I was blushing, which I don't do often. After I shook it off I followed after them down the path.
