Everyone began running for their lives up the mountainside. Wargs were following us. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the closest one leap at Bilbo. He ducks so the beast misses, and lands in front of him. I come up from behind and slice the head off of the creature. "Up into the trees, all of you!" I order. "Come on, climb! Bilbo, climb!" I push the hobbit into the tree where several other dwarves are.

"They're coming!" Thorin warns. Everyone climbs the trees. The foul beasts approach the trees. Thorin lends me a hand and lifts me into the tree. I sit on a branch between Thorin and Balin.

"Azog?!" Thorin says, surprised, as a white warg with Azog on its back comes out of the forest. He began speaking orcish. "It cannot be," Thorin says, his face full of grief.

My entire body tenses up at the sight of him. The last time I saw him he was running his sword through my brother with a sick smile on his face.

The pale orc starts to speak to his follower in orcish. "That one is mine. Kill the others!" (The bold is for orcish, I was lazy and didn't want to write out the actual words) The wargs try to climb the trees by jumping and breaking branches with their jaws. "Drink their blood!"

The tree in front of us began to topple over as the dwarves in it jump into ours. the tree shakes causing us to jump to the last and final tree which is the closest to the edge of the cliff. I heard Azog begin to laugh making my blood boil.

I look to see pinecones, I grab one holding it in my hand causing to catch fire. Gandalf helps by lighting them with his staff. We throw them to the other dwarves and toss them to the ground at the wargs.

Azog roars in anger which makes me smile widely. the dwarves begin to cheer but soon my smile fades. The dwarves cry out as the tree falls over the edge. I was flung around and almost fell, but Dwalin caught my hand.

"I got you lassie!" he shouts to me. He pulls me up until I can reach the tree with my other hand. I noticed Ori fell to but caught himself on Dori's foot.

"Master Gandalf." Dori also falls but catches himself on Gandalf's staff. "Hold on Ori."

I see Thorin get up and pull his sword out, running down the tree.

"Thorin! NO!" I yell, about to go after him but Dwalin grabs me by my waist, preventing me from going any farther. I watch as Thorin is flung to the ground but he gets back on his feet only to be hit by Azog's mace making him fall again.

'I can't just sit here and watch Thorin die,' I thought. I grab a hold of Dwalin's hand, making it heat up, burning him just enough to make him let me go. I run across the fallen tree and hide behind one of the trees where Thorin was.

"Bring me the dwarfs head." I hear Azog say. Just as I was about to shoot the orc, a small body pushes him out of the way. It was Bilbo! After he killed the vermin he stood protectively over the unconscious dwarf.

Just as Azog was about to strike down Bilbo, I run in front of him and deflect the blow with my sword. Me and Azog engage in battle, vicious on both sides.

"Ah, I remember you now. You were the one in the village. The one I left to suffer." Azog hissed. I let out a battle cry and charged at him. I fought harder than ever before. No one, and I mean NO ONE talks to me like that!

The white warg knocked my sword out of hands and I bring out my dagger. And slash the warg across the eye. He cried out and Azog roared and swung at me, I fell down. I was breathing heavily, the adrenaline in me fading.

"Now you will die." I slump to the ground every bone in my body too tired. The white warg picked me up with its massive jaws, crushing me. The pain was excruciating, I screamed out, tears running down my face, but I didn't notice them cause the pain was too great.

The warg threw me where Thorin lay unconscious, or so I thought. I grabbed his hand and for a moment I felt it squeeze back. But it was so brief I could've imagined it. The warg picked me up again and walked to the edge of the cliff. The last thing I saw before I fell was Azog smiling that same sick smile that I saw as he killed Axel.
