"The valley of Imraldis. In the common tongue, it's known by another name." Gandalf said.
"Rivendell," Bilbo said. I smiled but I started to feel weak. My shoulder was throbbing a lot more than it should. That could only mean that the arrow was poisoned, and it was spreading fast.
"Here lies the Homely House of the east sea."
"This was your plan all along, to seek refuge with our enemy," Thorin said angrily.
"You have no enemies here, Thorin Oakensheiled. The only ill-will to be found in the valley is that which you bring yourself." Gandalf said.
"You think the Elves will give our quest their blessing? They will try to stop us."
"Of course they will," I said.
"But we have questions that need to be answered. If we are to be successful, this will need to be handled with tact and respect and no small degree of charm. Which is why you will leave the talking to me and Evie." Gandalf added.
The company starts to move as I walk next to Gandalf.
How is your shoulder, Evie?" Gandalf asked me quietly.
"There was poison on the arrow, it's infected, and spreading fast too."
"Oh, dear." He looked at my shoulder, but before he could say anything, I saw someone walk down the stairs.
"Mithrandir." said the elf.
"Ah, Lindir," Gandalf said. They started to talk but I couldn't focus on what they were saying. My vision was getting blurry, and the pain in my shoulder was becoming worse and worse by the minute.
"Are you all right?" Thorin asked, I was about to answer, but before I could make a sound I was consumed by darkness.

I felt myself waking up. I opened my eyes but then immediately closed them because of the bright light. I slowly squinted my eyes until they grew used to the light and focused.
I looked at my surroundings. I was in a white room, on top of a soft white bed. My head was throbbing so much I thought it was going to explode.
"Ah, your awake." I heard Gandalf say. I sat up to get a better look at him. Elrond was next to him also.
"What the hell happened? And why do I feel like l had one too many cups of ale?"
"The poison was a very strong dose. It spread quickly, and any longer you would have not been within saving," said Elrond.
"Thank you, Mellon."
"You should wash up, a hot bath should be in the bathroom. I will leave some clean clothes for you that you always leave here."
"Thank you Elrond, no dresses right?"
"Yes, I know how much you hate dresses. Well, we will leave you to it, after you get cleaned up and dressed you can come and join us and the rest of the company for dinner."
Then they leave me to get ready. I hear the door close signaling that they left. I get up and walk towards the bath, I take off my ripped up clothes and get in.
The warm water soothes my skin and aching muscles. And just because I'm bored I start making the water into tiny balls with my magic.
After a while, I finally scrubbed all the dirt and dried blood off of me. Then I got out and dried myself. I got the clothes(picture at top) that the elf maids had laid out for me previously, and put them on.
After I brushed my hair and looked presentable, I made my way to where Lord Elrond, Gandalf, and the rest of the company were having dinner.
