"Oleg!" Daria yelled his name from the top of her lungs, as she was running towards the man who used to be her husband a long time ago. Oleg watched her running to him, opening his arms to pull his wife into a hug.

Daria run in his arms almost knocking him on the ground.

"Dasha, my beloved... You came here far too early." Oleg whispered holding her tightly in his arms. He knew why did she come here, and that she might decide to leave him forever, but he never wanted to let go of her.

"I... I was..." Daria felt her own voice betraying her. She wanted to speak to him, to tell him so much, to be with him here, in this place that was absolute perfect. For a moment, she almost forgotten that she had a different choice, and she was becoming ambiguous.

" I know my love, I know everything, I know what my brother had done to you." Oleg said touching her cheek. Daria shivered at the feeling of familiar touch, and the way his warm, brown eyes were looking at her once again after so long time, and sound of his voice she thought she forgotten.

"We will speak about everything, but let me kiss you again. I missed you so much..." Oleg whispered bringing his lips to her and kissing her so carefully, so desperately, because she knew she could fade away from his arms soon.

Daria's happiness soon began to fade in that kiss. She wasn't feeling passion or love, only thing that was making her weak was the nostalgic taste of her husband that left her far too early. Daria soon pulled away from him, leaving him to want more.

"If you really know everything, then you know that I have a choice that I have to make Oleg." Daria said.

"Haven't you already made that choice?" Oleg asked.

"I did." Daria answered bringing her lips to his once again, and he eagerly pulled her into another kiss.

"But that choice isn't you." Daria whispered against his soft lips. Oleg looked at her, and she could see in his eyes that he was hurt by her words and that he wasn't going to let her go so easy. Not without a fight, because that is how Oleg always used to be.

" What are you saying Dasha? You cannot do that, not for a crippled pagan. You cannot renounce yourself, your religion, and everything you are. You don't have to change for me and you know that..." Oleg said pulling her body closer to his own.

"Oh but I renounced so much for you already, I gave you my pride. And for me, heaven is not a place, its a person and I want to be with that man you call a crippled pagan but he is so much more." Daria answered slowly pulling away from Oleg.

"No you don't! He killed his previous wife! He killed his own child! He is a ruthless killer! What makes you think that he will not do the same to you? You will collapse Daria, he will be the end of you and you will regret your decision. And then, you will not be able to ever see me again!" Oleg said.

"You are dead Oleg, so allow me to live my life the way I want to do. I am no longer yours. I belong only to myself, and I am capable enough of making the decisions." Daria answered to him. Oleg sighed and looked at her, his hands were shaking because he knew that this is the last time he will ever see her.

"Oh how wrong you are... You will always be mine no matter what you do." Oleg said.

"If that is what you want to believe in, then who am I to stop you?" Daria answered and touched his cheek making him look at her again.

"Goodbye Oleg."

"Daria..." Oleg whispered her name as if it was a prayer, he leaned in and kissed her forehead.

"я люблю тебя" Oleg said. Daria turned her back to him slowly walking away towards the door that showed up once again.

"And if you see man named Athelstan. Tell him Ragnar sent his regards." Daria said and glanced once again at the heaven she repudiated, before she left it forever.

She was back in the warm room she was in with Ragnar and Aslaug. This time, there stood an ugly looking creature that perhabs once resembled a man, dressed in black cloak. Daria was almost scared of him.

"So you made your decision. I am seer, the one that knows everything, and so I know your decision is a wise one. Now hand your cross to me." The seer said.

Without a hesitation, Daria took a cross she wore around her neck and gave it to him. In exchange, seer gave her a silver bracelet with a Viking symbol on it.

" This represents your loyalty to the Gods. Never take it off. "He warned her and Daria nodded taking the bracelet and putting it around her wrist.

As soon as she done that, she felt an unbearable pain spreading through her whole body. Daria screamed as loud as she could, as the fear overcame her making her almost numb.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ivar was sitting on the bed, next to the lifeless body of a woman he loved, the woman he was ready to give everything he had, but now when she was dead, he wasn't able to do it. The last conversation they had in the throne room was persecuting his mind, and he blamed himself for what happened to her, and he cursed himself for it. The pain in his heart was more then any human could bear. And only then Ivar realized he wasn't truly a God because he couldn't bring her back, he couldn't make her open her eyes no matter what he did, and soon her she will root under the ground when they decide to bury her, because it seemed that the Gods weren't listening to his prayers. But he didn't deserve his prayers to be heard, because of all the terrible things that he had done in his tempestuous life. But Daria wasn't like him, she only liked to believe that she was, but on the contrary, she was strong, but yet kind and full of understanding. She didn't deserve to die like this, and she deserved much better man then he was.
Ivar's thoughts were interrupted by the painful scream that came from Daria.
"It's alright, It's alright I am here." Ivar whispered the words as he pulled her trembling body into his arms pressing her to his chest at first carefully because she was wounded, but then he realized that the wound was completely gone.
"Shh... It's fine Daria, everything is alright, please don't cry..." Ivar whispered, even of he, himself was already on the verge of tears. But shock and confusion were raging inside of him.
"That is not my name!" She said as her voice was trembling.
"What are you talking about?"
"It's Brynhildr. Your Gods, listened to your prayers, they allowed me to live." She explained and showed him a bracelet she was wearing. Ivar smiled, feeling relieved, the instant shock that he was feeling when she woke up, soon became happiness.
Gods after all heard his prayers.
"Do you now believe me that I am a God?" Ivar asked.
"Well it would be very... Godlike of you, if you kissed me already." She answered and chuckled at her own words.
Ivar laughed, as he pulled her closer to him crushing his lips on hers. It was a rough kiss, full of love and passion that was just waiting to explode and she only pulled him closer.
" I love you Ivar the Boneless." She said.
"And I love you too Brynhildr." Ivar said. "And I am so sorry for what happened, I should have protected you..." He said but she cut him off.
"I command you to shut up. It is not your fault." She said.
Ivar smirked at her dominance.
"Is there anything else you command me my princess?" Ivar asked.
"Actually yes. I command you to take me to Kattegat when you become a king, and to merry me."
"It would be my pleasure." Ivar answered and pulled her into another heated kiss.
