I know it's been a really long time, but I had so much work to do with university, but now I am back to finally write ending of this story. I apologize for the delay.

Please enjoy reading, I hope you will love it. I want to thank everyone for the support I have been getting from my readers, you are all amazing!

Now let's move on with the story!

Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved. The land of Norway was covered in a crimson blood of those who were proving their loyalty to their gods, their lands and masters. Refuse to lose, to be defeated, refuse to have any regrets and you may earn your place in Valhalla among with the Gods.

The screams of dying soldiers echoed through the air and Valkyries flew above them looking for the souls of those who didn't survive the battle. The Gods were watching as their tears were falling from the sky for those who died, washing away all the blood from the ground.

Ivar the Boneless fought as hard as his legs were allowing him, his life didn't matter to him, everything he wanted was to make sure that his wife and child had a safe life, here at their home, and that nobody will do anything to harm them.

"VALHALLA IS WAITING FOR US MY FRIENDS! WE MUST FIGHT FOR IT!" Ivar shouted throwing his ax into a poor English man. His face covered in blood, looking almost unhuman, like he was a devil himself and not a man at all. He was fighting with the powerful Vikings right by his side, they were not afraid of anything. His eyes traveled around the battlefield, looking for particular someone, whose death could end everything.

"BROTHER! COME OVER HERE AND END THIS!" Ivar yelled, but his brother was beside the English soldiers fighting Vikings, who once used to be his people, now he was fighting by the side of those who worshiped false God, and Vikings felt betrayed by the son of Ragnar.

Brynhildr stood and watched as the battle was deciding her fate and fate of her family, the smell of the blood made her feel almost sick as the rain covered her hair and made her shiver. Everything she could do was stand there with a sword in her arms and pray that Ivar is still alive, prayed that they will both survive this and the child in her will remain safe.

Все будет хорошо, сын мой, я обещаю тебе, что." Brynhildr whispered softly as she touched her belly as the salty tear rolled down her cheek.

"My queen, Englishman are breaking trough." One of the Vikings said as walked over to the queen who held the sword in her hand more tightly.

"Then we must fight." Brynhildr smiled slightly. "Don't be scared my son, you are going to fight so many battles in the future, this is just one of them." Brynhildr whispered touching her belly for the last time before taking a shield in her hands. She knew that sooner or later the soldiers will come here and that she will have to protect those who cannot fight, and she knew that she wasn't one of them, Brynhildr felt strong enough to do anything.

"Odin will protect us! Don't you be afraid!" Brynhildr yelled to the soldiers as they were preparing for the strike of an English army.

Soon Bjorn with army of English soldiers broke trough and he was there face to face with Brynhildr.

"We meet again, did you really think I will allow you and Ivar to rule Kattegat??" Bjorn asked.

"I allowed you to live Bjorn Ironside, and Ivar helped you escape. I made a promise to Ragnar Lothbrok that I will not send his sons to Valhalla, and I have been trying so hard to keep that promise, but you...You want to die so badly." Brynhildr said.
