AN (important): I will address Daria as Brynhildr from now on, since she changed her name when she accepted Norse religion instead of Christian.

So that is all I wanted to tell you, now enjoy the story!

Thank you for reading! :)

Brynhildr was finally contented. She felt true happiness, she was intoxicated by the feeling of sweet, passionate love. As the winter was passing, for the first time in her life, the cold, snowy nights didn't make her feel sad, and lonely, instead she spent them in arms of the man that she loved, and she felt calm, safe, she felt all those beautiful things she never thought were real. And life was so beautiful, she almost thought she was dreaming trough it, and that she will wake up at any moment.

Brynhildr was lying down on the bed next to Ivar, he was watching her and his hands were caressing her cheek.

"Tell me about how the world was created." Brynhildr said. Every night, he was telling her stories about the Gods, and she was slowly learning them. Some of the stories she found brutal, but yet so fascinating she could listen to them again and again. Like the story of making the world or about Ragnarok.

"Isn't it the time for you to tell me the story? You must learn it." Ivar asked raising his eyebrow.

"The world was created from the remains of the giant Ymir. The three brothers dragged Ymir's lifeless body towards the center of Ginnungagap, this is the place where they created the world from the remains of Ymir." She was talking. Ivar was slowly leaning his face closer to her.

"And what was made out of his blood?" Ivar whispered.

"Oceans, rivers and lakes." She answered slightly shivering. Ivar then brushed his soft lips against her neck inhaling her sweet aroma earning a soft moan from her.

"And his flesh and bones?" Ivar asked.

"Flesh became the land, and the bones became the mountain." She answered and Ivar slide his hand down her neck giving it another soft kiss. He looked into her eyes with his lips curved in the smirk.

"And eyelashes?"

Brynhildr felt her whole body shivering under his touch and breath. She was already felt the strong inclination for him.

"It became Midgard." Brynhildr whispered and Ivar pulled her into a passionate kiss holding her body close to his.

"Ivar. I am coming with you tomorrow to raid the Norway." She said.

They had a plan to slowly start attacking and take the hostage who could tell them more about Kattegat defending systems.

"It's going to be dangerous." Ivar said caressing her cheek. He would never be able to go trough agonising pain of losing her again.

"I am a princess Ivar, I need to take some risks and I know that you will protect me."

"With my life." Ivar answered.

"But as your father said, we will not kill any of your brothers." She warned him.  Ivar nodded and sighed on the mention of his father.

"You gave him your word, and we will respect it. Not any of my brothers will die in this war." Ivar said.

"Do you miss them?"

"My brothers?" Ivar asked and he smiled a bit. "I miss Sigurd sometimes. I never loved him but I regret killing him anyway. But the brother I really want to see is Hvitserk. He stood by my side for some time before he couldn't stand my cruelty anymore."

Brynhildr smiled and she leaned her head on his chest listening to the sound of his heartbeat.

"It's hard to imagine you being cruel."
