Two years later.

The reign of a White Queen continued no matter what happened. Nobody could takw down the ruthless ice queen that never allowed herself to be touched with any single emotion. Maybe our emotions were weakness, maybe humans were so weak allowing themselves to be consumed by the feeling ans bounding themselves to people they loved. Everything the people did for their loved ones seemed so foolish to Brynhildr now, she simply couldn't understand that. But at the same time she envied them, because she was so empty, so shallow, deep inside she felt anger and raging sorrow. Her heart and soul were composed of the most beautiful emotions that she cherished when she was still able to do so, but now she only wished she could feel something, even if it was a pain, she wouldn't mind it, she would embrace it and allow herself to be lost in it.

Ivsr contained to visit her so often, trying to provoke the emotions out of her, but it all seemed like a maze of an endless torture and he was slowly losing his hope that he will ever be able to reach to this woman again. But still, he didn't want to fall in love with anyone else, he couldn't, Brynhildr was start of his new life, and she was also going to be an end of it and he couldn't change that no matter what he done. He already forgave her for everything and he was just waiting for her to be able to love him again.

Ivar focused on setting his brother Bjorn snd his wives free from Brynhildr's dungeon. He managed to do so and send them to Kiev. It wasn't because he loved his brother, but because he was afraid that Bjorn's rage will destroy her, and that somehow, he will find a way to kill Brynhildr, and Ivar still, no matter what wanted to protect his woman.

"Let her go, with frozen heart she will never love you again." Bjorn said to him before he departed to Kiev.

But Bjorn couldn't understand Ivar, he never loved so passionately and desperately like Ivar did, he never committed to just one woman, and Ivar decided to give his whole life to Brynhildr.

People started getting used to the new life, because they knew that they couldn't change it, they were doomed to live in the enteral winter under the ruthless queen. But people have always been an amazing creatures that could find a happiness and beauty in the hard times. Even though their queen was merciless, she still made sure that her people have everything they need for living by conquering the kingdoms around Kattegat and taking their gold and food. She also made sure that the most of farms were free from her ice so that people could live and work there.

They didn't hate Brynhildr, they simply felt sorry for her.

It wasn't a long time before King Harald felt worried about his kingdom, Brynhildr was slowly conquering everything. And unlike his soldiers, Brynhildr wasn't stopped by the winter.

"My queen, the armies of king Harald are seen marching towards Kattegat." The man informed the pale and cold woman that was sitting on the throne with Ivar the Boneless by her side.

"Let him come." Brynhildr said.

"We need to assemble an army, King Harald is a dangerous man." Ivar warned her.

"And I am a dangerous woman and I can assure you Ivar that I am far more dangerous then he is." Brynhildr said getting up from the throne.

"You will lead an army with me Ivar." Brynhildr added before disappearing into her chambers to prepare for the battle that was coming. She wasn't afraid of any man, all this battles were simply amusing her.

Soon they were on the battlefield and the army of King Harald meet with an army of a White Queen, shivering in fear only from her appearance.

"King Harald Finehair, not really a name for the king. What brings you to Kattegat?" Brynhildr asked.
