The war is taking away the lives of the young people that were waiting for the time to shine and earn their glory by taking a place in Valhalla with those who lived through their final moments in the battle. The army of Vikings was wild, their blood was boiling as the hit their shields with their axes ready to meet Odin. But the army of Kiev, stood silent but proud with their head held high.
Both of the armies were ready for the attack, ready to fight side by side despite all the differences, ready to die like a brothers if they had to.
Ivar the Boneless, the scourge of the whole world, the King of Norway, the one who could do the impossible, the one they worshipped like a God, was leading the army of Vikings. He shouted with rage that was leading him against his brother. Right beside him, was the woman they considered to be as godlike as Ivar the Boneless was, the one who was a queen, wife, warrior, but still she could not fight beside her people, because she was with child, and that was slowly becoming visible by her belly to everyone who could see her.
Brynhildr was on her horse flashing with her authority, making even those who couldn't understand her, listen carefully while she spoke the language she almost thought she forgotten.
