Chapter 15

Jungkook's POV

"It's our pleasure to have you on board Mr Jeon," the representative of National Geographic says, extending his hand to shake mine.

I'm really doing this? It's a 3 year assignment out in Africa. I'll have to visit at least 6 countries and document my findings. A photographic blog that will be showcased at the end of the contract. It's like a dream come true. And there's only one person in the whole world that I want to thank, my Jin hyung.

My eyes tear up as I exit the meeting. It's bittersweet really, I have this fantastic opportunity and it's all because of him but it also means that I will have to be apart from him. My heart constricts as I take an uber to head back to his house and pack up my stuff.

I could have stayed at my flat this whole time I was in Seoul but I just couldn't keep away from my hyung. I love him so much. I'll have to drop by my apartment to pack more stuff since I'll be going for a while. There's much to do to close up the flat etcetera, while I'm away.

The last five years has seen me become an adept traveller yet it still feels like dejavu everytime I set forth out into the world. The driver drops me off on the long drive and I walk up to the house. I see Sangook playing on the lawn and my hyung sitting on a blanket he has spread out, watching his son with love in his eyes.

I take out my camera and click a few pictures while they interact. They are beautiful only because my hyung is in them with his adorable son. Oh, how I will miss them. My heart clenches when Sangook runs into Jin hyung's arms and I press my finger down on the shutter to capture these beautiful, precious memories that will stay with me for life.

I pack my camera away and walk towards them. Sangook's eyes light up when he sees me and he comes barelling down the drive to run into my arms. I throw him over my shoulders as he giggles happily, while Jin hyung looks on at us with love and adoration in his eyes.

"Hyung, I have some news," I say, settling down on the blanket and placing Sangook between us. I ruffle his hair and he giggles softly.

"What is it Kook?" Jin hyung asks me, curiosity laced in his eyes.

"I'm going to Africa in two days time. I'll be on assignment there for the next 3 years."

I watch the changing expressions on his gorgeous face and my breath hitches. How can be be this handsome? I've never seen anyone as mesmerizing as my Jin hyung in my life and that's saying something since I've photographed some of the most beautiful people in the world. But no one can compare to my Jin hyung. His beauty is unmatched.

His eyes are sad but he masks the pain in them quickly by smiling and congratulating me on this achievement.

"I've always known you were destined for greatness Kookie. This world is waiting for you to shine brightly like the sparkling diamond that you are. And I'll be there to applaud all your accolades. I'm so proud of you; the person you have become today, after all your struggles. You deserve every success."

Sangook runs off with his noona to the bathroom and I wait until they are out of sight to lean in and place a soft kiss on my Jin hyung's lips. It's small and sweet but it's enough to elicit a quiet moan from him and it urges me to press my lips harder onto his.

He pulls me closer and I lean in further to grab onto his neck and pull him to me, deepening the kiss, tasting his lips, his tongue, his warmth. It soon becomes urgent and leaves us both breathless.

"I love you Jin hyung."

"I love you more my Kookie. I will miss you so much." A tear escapes his sad eyes and I lean in and capture it with my lips, pressing down onto his cheek.

"Please don't cry hyung. You're too lovely to have tears in those beautiful doe eyes." I caress his cheek softly while he leans into my hand. He places tiny kisses to my fingertips and I think I'll die from the look he's giving me now. It's damn sexy!

"Appa!" Sangook calls from within and we break apart quickly, as he runs out and pounces on my back. "Can strong man please bath Gookie? Gookie don't want Noona Lee!" He pouts so cutely, looking exactly like Jin hyung.

"Gookie! You know Kookie can't bath you. That's Noona Lee's job. And Kookie is going to leave us soon so you can't be annoying him."

"It's no trouble at all hyung. I love Gookie."

"Don't coddle him Kook. You will be leaving tomorrow and then he will trouble me for you. Then, what am I to do when you'll be hundreds of miles away?" His voice catches when he says this. He looks at me with a mixture of sadness and love in his eyes.

I smile at him, stroking his thigh lightly before getting up and lifting Sangook in my arms. He laughs happily. I reach out my hand for Jin hyung to take and he looks into my eyes with all the love I feel for him reciprocated in them.

We make our way inside and I bath Sangook while Jin hyung watches us play in his little tub. He helps me to change him; soon he's sucking on his thumb and falling off to sleep in my arms. He's the cutest baby I've ever seen. I lay him down on his bed and Jin hyung tucks him in. We exit his room and I'm surprised when hyung takes my hand in his, leading me towards his bedroom.

I follow him, our hands intertwined, as we make our way to his room. He closes the door behind us and I pull him to my chest, capturing his mouth with my own in a deep and sensual kiss, filled with want and need of this beautiful man that I love so deeply.
