P.S This poem is more simple than it sounds.
Which is very sad, but an example of how
things work these days. Complicated matters
are made to sound simple, which is wrong,
and should be put right. I kept this poetry
simple, but I hope you get to see the meaning
behind these words. It is also random
and based on a thought.

Dreams don't intent to hide,
Ravishing dreams,
Or even,
Nightmares.

So why,
Does a person,
Holding a broken heart,
Has to lie,
About being okay,
Silently wiping away tears?

Is it the fear,
Of being judged?
Or misunderstood?

Or just,
The thought,
Of knowing,
That one won't,
Be treated right?
Or whisked away,
Out of sight?

How to tell,
True tales,
Of not a fairy tale,
With less happy ending?

I break,
I broke,
I am broken.

How do I,
Gain enough courage,
To shout out,
To the world,
Which neglected me?

Why were my scars ignored?
Or my wails unheard?
Why was I alone,
When I so needed someone?

Still yet,
I bleed.
And no one,
Washes my skin,
Covered in bruises,
And horrible sins.

I am a victim,
A person who broke.
Yet once I used to be,
A dreamer,
Full of hope.

Why embrace me,
When a push is all I will get,
With a couple of more wounds
to add.

So I remain silent,
A person,
Breaking,
Dying,
Day by day.

And people only watch,
As if it's a game,
I'm playing.
