Like clockwork, the 'ding' of the elevator sounded.
"Fuck..." Lucifer mumbled, sighing heavily. "Someone's ruining the moment... Again."
As he got up and put on some boxer briefs and his silk black robe, Rayna sat up, pulling the Egyptian cotton sheets over herself.
"Luci!" Amenadiel's voice boomed through the penthouse.
"Bloody Hell, wrong time to call me that, brother." Lucifer groaned. "It's just been screamed into my bloody ear." His voice turned to a mumble, causing Rayna to giggle.
Lucifer winked at her before moving to the living area.
Rayna arched her neck, seeing Amenadiel and a strange woman. Assuming it was their mother in the Human body she'd taken over, she decided to take advantage.
"Oooh, is this the infamous Goddess of all I've heard so little about?" Rayna smirked, wrapping the sheet into a dress as she stood up to greet the guests.
"Lucifer, who's this?" The woman asked.
"An old flame. A few seconds sooner and you would've heard the inferno." The Devil smirked, Rayna letting out another burst of mild amusement.
Amenadiel, looking entirely unamused, sighed heavily.
"Lucifer, we need to talk about what we're going to do with mom." He said.
"We? She likes you best, you do something." The Devil protested.
"Can we not talk like I'm not in the room, please?" Their mother huffed.
"Why don't we go downstairs, pour a drink and you can tell me all about Lucifer and Amenadiel when they were kids." Rayna smirked.
"Darling, you're not dressed." She replied snobbishly.
Rayna looked down, seeing the cotton sheet.
"Ah yes." She frowned.
Rayna then slowly slipped her hands down her sides, taking the sheet with her. Amenadiel and the Goddess were ready to quickly look away, but instead, they saw the sheet turn into a beautifully form fitting black sparkly evening gown and heels.
Lucifer was speechless for the first time in his life.
"Rayna..." Was all he managed to whisper.
"What?" She asked innocently as she used the reflection from the piano to sort her sex hair out before looking back up at the Goddess. "Follow me." The Heretic smiled.
"How did you..." She began, entirely aghast.
But before she could find the right words, Rayna took her hand and led her to the elevator.

In the club, Rayna had noticed that Maze was nowhere to be seen.
"That's weird. Where is she?" She more asked herself than her company.
"Mazikeen doesn't much care for me." The Goddess replied, taking a seat at the centre bar stool as Rayna slipped behind the bar. "So, what are you?"
Rayna smirked as she poured two glasses of Bourbon.
"I'm a Heretic. A Vampire Witch Hybrid." She replied.
"What on Earth is a Vampire?" The Goddess took a sip from the drink.
"An immortal being that lives by feeding from the blood of Humans. We also come with some pretty epic party tricks, such as compulsion, which is like Lucifer's ability to bring out people's desires, except more generalised. If I ask someone to do something whilst using compulsion, they will do it no matter what it is." Rayna explained.
"Even if you ask them to kill themselves?" The Goddess looked rather shocked as Rayna nodded.
"But whilst I'm a Witch as well, it amplifies my magic, allowing me to compel other Vampires and Supernatural beings too, which a normal Vampire cannot. But, as I've learned, I can't compel divine creatures, such as yourself and your children."
"Other Supernatural beings?" The Goddess looked confused.
"Witches, Werewolves –they're Humans who have the ability to turn into Wolves. They're also incredibly strong, but not as strong as a Vampire." Rayna told her.
She simply nodded.
"My my, things have changed since I was banished."
"If you don't mind my asking, why are you here?" Rayna leaned on the bar.
"I finally found a way to escape Hell." The Goddess shrugged. "I just want to get back up to Heaven."
"You're the all-powerful Goddess of Creation..." The Heretic frowned. "Why can't you just whoosh yourself back up?"
"Because my abilities are supressed by this damned Human form." She sighed impatiently.
At that moment, Rayna grew curious about something.
"I wonder if I can compel you whilst you're in this body..." She said.
"You can try, if you want." The Goddess shrugged, sitting up on her stool.
"Why not?" Rayna also shrugged, moving to look into her eyes. "Come round here and get me another drink." She compelled, then waited for a response. "Anything?"
"I don't feel the need to or whatever, if that's what you mean. But if you wanted another drink, all you had to do was ask." She laughed, causing Rayna to do the same.
"It's okay, I've got it. Didn't think it would work anyway."

After discussing a few other topics, Rayna decided the room was too quiet, so went over to the stunning Steinway grand piano and began to work through 'Moonlight Sonata' by Beethoven.
"You're very good at that." The Goddess complimented.
"Thank you." Rayna replied just as the elevator doors opened.
"Thought I heard something beautiful." Lucifer smiled as he walked towards the two women, his brother at his side.
"Remember when you taught me how to play the Harpsichord?" Rayna smirked.
"How could I forget?" Lucifer chuckled, sitting beside her at the piano.
"Well, this has been riveting, but I need to get mom somewhere that doesn't reek of my brother's penial excrement." Amenadiel sighed, grabbing his mother's arm.
"Well that was the most disgusting sentence I have ever heard..." Rayna grimaced. "And that's quite the achievement, considering I've lived on Earth for the better part of a thousand years. I just find it ironic that it came from an angel."
Lucifer smirked through a chuckle.
"So where are you going to house our mother?" He asked.
"I doubt I'll be going back to the Roosevelt tonight." Rayna reached into her pocket and pulled out the key card, Frisbee-ing it to Amenadiel, who caught it in one hand. "Penthouse suite. Knock yourself out. I'll call ahead and tell them you've got my key, since they know me. Don't want you guys getting kicked out."
"Thank you, Rayna. You've been very hospitable to me this evening." The Goddess smiled, leaning over the piano to take her hand, giving it a small squeeze.
"You're most welcome." Rayna replied genuinely.

Rayna had just gotten off the phone with the hotel, confirming that it was her and everything was alright when she made it back up to the Devil's Penthouse, where Lucifer was waiting on the couch with a glass of Scotch.
"I have to ask," He started. "What on earth possessed you to be so nice to my mum?"
"We had a little heart to heart. I mean, the woman's just got out of the endless torture loop that is Hell and thrown straight into an alien world, filled with the beings she most despises. She looked like she could use a friend." Rayna explained, swiftly curling up into him as she took the glass from him.
Lucifer smiled, wrapping his arm around her with a content sigh.
"If this is what I've been waiting for for the better half of four hundred years," He began. "It was well worth the wait."
"I just can't believe I hated you for all that time..." Rayna frowned to herself.
"There's a fine line between love and hate, my dear." He whispered in her ear.
She looked up at him, taking in every detail in his irises.
"Perhaps I just loved the idea of hating you." She cited. "It was easier than a broken heart."
Rayna leaned over and placed the Scotch on the table before curling into Lucifer more, wrapping her arm around his middle tightly.
"We don't need to think about that now." Lucifer told her quietly, kissing her hair. "We're here and we're together. That's all that matters."
Rayna smiled softly, leaning up to kiss him.
"Y'know, for the Devil, you're a pretty big softie." She giggled.
"Well that just won't do." His expression turned smug. "The Devil will have to punish you for such sacrilege."
But before he could even move, Rayna used her Vamp speed to rush to behind the bar on the other side of the room.
"You'll have to catch me first."
