A few days later, Rayna made her way down to the basement with a shot glass and a plastic bottle filled with blood.
The elevator pinged and the doors opened, revealing a very weak looking Andrew.
"Good morning." She said, blankly.
"I treasure moments like these." The Vampire replied with a horribly raspy, blood deprived throat.
"Why's that?" Rayna asked, pouring some of the blood into the shot glass.
"Because it gives me a break from hearing you and mister Morningstar going at it like a couple of sex deprived rabbits." Andrew rolled his eyes.
"I'll be sure to make a mental note of having more sex then. This isn't a holiday for you, after all." The Heretic retorted, sliding the shot glass across the floor.
In an instant, Andrew grabbed the shot glass and swallowed the lot, throwing the shot glass back at his captor.
Rayna took the moment to sit on the floor, pouring him another glass.
"I wouldn't drink it like that if I were you. What if something happened to me and my group? You'd be left to starve. You need to savour it." She said.
"If something were to happen to you and yer group, I would nae want to prolong my inevitable desiccation." He replied, taking the topped up shot glass Rayna had returned to him.
"I suppose not. Based on that, I should think you'd be hoping nothing bad happens to us whilst you are in our care."
Andrew scoffed. "This is what ye call care?"
"This is what I call poetic justice. And on that note, I'll leave you with the knowledge that we're closer than you'd like to believe to catching your brother. Mazikeen is very good at her job, after all."
As Rayna stood up and went to reach for the shot glass, Andrew suddenly lunged in an attempt to grab her, but missed by millimetres.
"Ye'll all pay for this." He snarled.
"I'm sure. But until then... Good day, Andrew."
With that, she spun on her heel and walked towards the elevator, taking one last look at her Vampire hostage as the doors slid closed.

"Is the dog fed?" Lucifer called as Rayna made her way back through the penthouse to the bedroom.
"He is." She replied, sitting on the bed just as the Devil exited the bathroom with nothing but a loose towel hanging off his hips. "Though he did decide to get a little feisty when I mentioned his brother. And he put the suggestion to me that we should be a little more considerate about guests with super hearing when having sex four nights in a row."
"Now that is a terrible shame. I'll have to make sure I make you scream a little louder next time." Lucifer smirked, dropping his towel to dress himself.
"Ha ha." Rayna rolled her eyes. "So what's the plan for the day, my love?"
She watched as Lucifer buttoned up his grey shirt, getting lost in a haze as knitted each and every button slowly into their designated holes.
"Get high and have sex?" He cocked an eyebrow.
Rayna gave a dark chuckle, getting up and moving over to him.
"If that's the plan, then why on Earth are you getting dressed, my Lord?" She asked.
Lucifer immediately ceased what he was doing, not that there was much point given to the fact that he was only one button away from being done.
Just then, his phone rang.
"Ignore it." She hummed, leaning up to kiss his neck, running her fingers up his chest.
Lucifer picked up his phone from the drawers beside him.
"It's the Detective." He said, pressing the 'answer' button.
Rayna gave a frustrated groan, releasing the Devil from her grip to get herself a glass of water from the bar.

Lucifer walked into the main room of the penthouse after getting dressed and hanging up with Chloe.
Probably not in that order.
"What's wrong?" Rayna asked.
"The Detective thinks we have a lead. She got word from missing persons that a woman has been kidnapped." He, walking towards the elevator.
"And that concerns us how?" The Heretic asked.
"Not sure. But the Detective said that there were a few odd items found in her apartment, so she's requesting our presence. More specifically yours."
Without any need to elaborate, Rayna placed her glass on the bar and immediately jogged towards the elevator after Lucifer.

"Detective Decker? This isn't your jurisdiction. What are you doing here?" An officer asked as Lucifer and Rayna pulled up.
"My partners and I have been asked to look at some of the evidence." The Detective replied.
"Oh okay, cool. I'll see you later then." The officer smiled, walking past her with a pat on the shoulder.
"What's the evidence we need to look at?" Rayna asked, approaching Chloe.
"It's this way." She said, leading the way through to the apartment.

In the apartment, everything looked to be in order, as though nothing had ever happened there. If it weren't for the police tape on the door and the few tagged evidence around the place, Rayna would've thought exactly that.
The living room was immaculate. Like whoever lived here had some sort of cleaning OCD.
Chloe walked over to a bookcase on the far side of the room.
"The books?" Rayna gestured to the case with a raised eyebrow and a loosely pointed finger.
"Not these ones." Chloe sighed, reaching for the bookcase.
She pulled it lightly and the Heretic and the Devil soon realised that it was a secret door.
Rayna's eyes glinted with fascination.
Inside, they found a tiny room, more like a closet, barley big enough for Chloe and Rayna to stand in.
It was decorated with white candles, their wax dripping over their sticks and onto the floor.
There was an array of books lined up on a desk in the room – Incredibly old books.
At further glance, Rayna saw that they weren't just any books; they were a Witch's Grimoires.
"I see why I'm here now." She nodded to herself.
"When a friend from Missing Persons told me about this – and I quote – 'black magic Wicca crap', I thought there was a good chance that it was something to do with our Andrew situation. So I'll ask you, did his brother kidnap a Witch?" Chloe folded her arms across her chest, almost protectively. "Jesus, I never thought I'd have to say that sentence..."
Rayna chuckled at the Detective's comment.
"Welcome to my world, Detective Decker." She said, picking up one of the books from the desk.
Rayna carefully turned each page, taking in all the information on them in a matter of seconds, having had many centuries to practice her speed reading.
"This is ancestral magic. Who's the victim?" The Heretic asked.
"Her name is River Beaumont. She disappeared two days ago. Her sister reported her missing after they were supposed to meet for a long weekend trip to New Orleans, their home town." Chloe replied. "She only just moved here on a temporary lease."
"Of course he had to get a New Orleans Witch..." Rayna sighed, placing the book in its original spot. She then noticed Chloe's confused expression. "A New Orleans Witch has a spiritual tie to their coven and the city grounds; they take their energy and power and divide it equally within the coven. The thing is, they have the most power when in their own city, so why Andrew and James didn't just go there instead is what confuses me right now."
"So what do you think their next move is?" Chloe asked.
Rayna took a moment to think.
"I think that they came here instead of New Orleans because they knew I'd be here. When Andrew knew he wouldn't get me to agree to his plans, they went for the next best thing – a New Orleans Witch." She finally stated. "So the next move is most likely going to be a trip to New Orleans. And whilst we're doing that, find out what's so special about this Witch that they decided to seek her out of all the people in Los Angeles instead of just going straight to the French Quarter and grabbing the first Witch they felt the presence of."
"Okay, but there's something I'm yet to understand." Chloe added. "Why is it so bad that the Vampire bros want their family back?"
"All magic comes with a price. Like Einstein's theory of entanglement – if an atom is split in two and put even on opposite ends of the universe, if you alter or affect one half, the other will equally be altered or affected. The relevance of that here is that, to bring back the dead, a life must be exchanged." Rayna explained. "Even worse, they're trying to resurrect three vengeful family members who also happen to be Witches."
"I see..." Chloe nodded.

Back at Lux, something immediately felt off to Rayna.
Something was missing.
She listened with all her abilities and knew exactly what was wrong.
"Bloody Hell..." She growled, stalking towards the elevator.
"What is it?" Lucifer asked.
"We've been burgled." She replied.

In the basement, it was exactly what Rayna had expected.
The place was trashed and Andrew was nowhere to be seen.
"Fuck damn it!" Rayna screamed, kicking a massage table across the length of the basement, only to embed itself into the brick wall on the opposite side to them.
"Woah!" Lucifer jogged over and instantly wrapped his arms around his love. "We'll get him back. No need to destroy the foundations of my club."
"I'm sorry..." The Heretic groaned, leaning into him. "I can't believe those little bastards got the upper hand."
"I know. We'll get them back, don't worry."
