Avalon sat inside a waiting area. She was a little nervous about her first session with the therapist that Strange recommended to her. She wasn't sure what to expect. Most would sit on their phone as a way to pass the time, but instead, she tried meditating. It was a quiet and peaceful place for her to attempt to do so.

Closing her eyes, she remained calm. She was trying to reach out to someone stronger, more powerful than her like Strange said. She wondered what the man was up to. Part of her wondered if he was attempting to play matchmaker with her. Avalon had never been the dating type. She felt like she was too busy playing superhero. Not to mention, every time she believed she had feelings for someone, they died or went off-world or to top it off, went back in time to another woman.

"Avalon?" She heard a raspy voice say in the quiet waiting room.

She stood up, her phone falling out of her lap and onto the ground then she rushed to pick it up but he helped her, "Hello, Bucky."

"Funny to see you here." He put his hands in his pockets as he slightly moved closer to her, stepping out of the way for another person passing by. "Are you doing alright?"

"When I signed up to have two former Avengers, I didn't think they would have back-to-back appointments." Dr. Raynor said as she joined the two at the doorway. "But yet, here they are. Shame on me, I should've checked my books better."

"Listen, I'm just trying to follow someone else's advice and this is where it leads me," Avalon told the older woman. "I don't need the negativity."

"You should've been here 6 months ago," The woman had an open hand, directing Avalon inside. "Believe me when I say this Miss Stark, I've heard stories about you."

"If she's like this the whole time, I'm not sure I'm gonna like her," Avalon whispered to Bucky.

He chuckled, "She's rough, but can be helpful, although, I still may argue that."

"Great," She looked at him and back at the therapist, "I miss him too, you know? Whatever is going through your head, you're not alone."

"I could say the same to you, Stark." He said.

She shook her head at him, "Don't call me that, please, I'm not just a Stark. I prefer Avalon."

He tilted his head at her, almost in awe, "Fair enough."

"Alright you two, split up, it's Avalon's turn. Bucky, you were court-ordered to do this, yet still chose to come, good for you, Avalon is here on her own terms." The doctor told them. "As shocking as that may be."

"That's still up for debate."

Bucky attempted to give a small smile to Avalon as they passed one another. As she came inside the room, the first thing she noticed was how bare and gray it looked. She hated boring things with no color to them. The doctor had sat down in her seat already, looking at the young woman in front of her. She was curious about Avalon's response to the room itself.

"Why is the room so plain? So beige." Avalon asked her before sitting. "Where's the decor? Do therapists not have good taste? I can give some recommendations. Style is kinda my thing."

"I prefer the simple things in life, Avalon. Makes me think better." She said, "Some live that way."

"But there's nothing to brighten up the place." She moved her hand around the room. "I can't think better here."

The doctor tilted her head at the young woman, "What would you like to see? Show me, if you will."

Without a second thought, Avalon used her powers to change the room into what resembled her own apartment. Now more comfortable, she leaned back into the couch. The doctor was already about to give the woman a diagnosis of her problems. Doctor Raynor had a frown on her face and Avalon had a bright smile on hers.
