= Ken's POV =

Around a year ago, I pursued my dream on literature but my family disagreed. I had a fight with my parents which ended up disowning me.

When I arrived here in Tokyo, I met this unique person and help me become one of the best selling author to date.

That person is Menma Agaraki, my editor. I was working with him for a year now. He handled marketing and publishing management of my three novels. He said he was working for the publishing company for many years now. But was it all a lie?

The times I was suspected or unintentionally got into trouble for taking pictures, he immediately handled it as if he had strong connections.

During interviews by reporters and magazines, he's the one who answers questions for me but never actually shown his face to them. He said to me it was for confidentiality but now, maybe he intended not to show his face to the public.

We're like the secretive duo.

And yesterday, we also found out that Menma and Aki are the same person.

According to Haruhi-chan, his brother left the Hashimoto Household a year ago. Is it a coincidence that he met me?

I was waiting here in Brew-katsu at a private room Honjo-san areanged.

A few minutes later, a the guy I believed to call as Menma Agaraki arrived.

"Hey there!" Menma greeted me. "What's the occasion?"

"Uh yeah." I said. "I have an announcement."

"Oh really?" He sat next to me and poured some beer on his glass. "Don't tell me you're getting married, too?"

He laughed but as soon as he saw my serious expression, his smile became shock.

"Wait, what?" He said while still pouring beer on his glass. "Well, congratulations then! Oh- oops."

He nearly spilled most of the beer from the overflowing glass.

"So, who's the lucky lady?" He sips his beer.

"It's a girl named Haruhi Hashimoto." I said.

And immediately he spew his beer.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You're joking right?" He said, "The heiress to the Hashimoto Household?"

"Yes." I said. "Why? Is it bad?"

"N-nothing." He said. "Just be careful."

"What?"

"I meant I'm happy for you!" He excused.

"Well, since you're getting married too." I sipped some of my beer. "Why did you ran away?"

He froze.

"What do you mean?" He innocently fixed his gaze on the table.

"You're Aki Hashimoto, aren't you?" I said.

"What's the matter with you today?" He smirked. "You must be drunk already. How can I possibly be the supposed heir of the Hashimoto Household?"

He laughed as if I made a soft joke.

"Actually." I locked to his eyes. "You're the one who pretty much confirmed it."

"Eh?" He said.

"It was never announced yet that Haruhi-chan will be the heiress." I said. "How did you know she was?"
