The waves crashed as the two young girls were face to face with a tall male named Axle, and a red haired beauty named Hannah.

Serina popped up from the water , a smile on her face , waving back at Hannah
' That fucker Anthony . And I'm Serina -- that's Melanie . '

She gestures over to the gay best friend.
' but Anthony needs to choke on a crack rock already . You met him yet ? '

' Ah, yeah. That fucker is a hand full... I've met him a few times. Say, you two look young to be at a party like this... '

' Axle, leave them alone. Can't you see they're in love-'
The girl smiled and held her cheeks.

' Oh, you two like each other? '

"Wh- oh no, she's my best friend-"
Melanie smiled awkwardly, holding her best friends arm with a small giggle.

' We've known each other for a long time . Kind of like siblings . '
Serina did hold onto Melanie's hand though so it was understandable for her to think it .

Axle nodded and smiled a bit.
'Then, maybe we should all get some drinks, you two ladies single?'

"I. Yeah, my friend Serina is, if you want to take her to get some drinks... Me and Hannah can hang for a bit-"

Before Serina could say anything, Axle smiled and held out his arm.
'Good, let's go get some drinks then-'

' I'd love too . '
Serina looked back at Melanie with a smirk before she'd take axles arms , then they all walked out of the water and towards the beach house.

Melanie huffed some breaths to catch some air and walked in with Hannah, Axle was getting Serina some drinks, Hannah and Melanie chatting small talk over by the corner as Mel looked around the party. Sunny wasn't there thank god. A tall boy had also shown up pretty much later on into the party , he was just coming out of the water actually . He would later on show up at the beach house , taking his own seat at the bar . Serina was giggling , flirting , chatting away with Axle .

Axle was flirting back and chuckling, but looking over at Melanie. He remembered her, he could smell something off of her that resembled something from his past, but he didn't even bother since he had a small thing for Serina now.
Melanie was just dancing a little bit, Hannah joining as they got to know each other a bit more.

The tall boy spun his seat around after getting two drinks , his seat now facing Melanie. He stood and approached her as she danced ,
  ' how about a drink or two ? '
He grinned but kindly

She looked back at him as she continued to dance and raised a brow.
"How do I know you didn't poison it? Also, I don't know your name so how can I trust you-"

' I'm Kodi and I'm not an asshole who'd poison a pretty girls drink . '
He chuckled a bit , taking one shot
  ' I'd take both shots but that'd be selfish of me . '

She huffed and took the shot throwing it back and then handed it back to him.
"Thanks but, I should really get going. My parents are probably worried and I need to check on my siblings-"

' I could give you a ride home , talk a bit or something . . . I got change in the car if you want to grab a slush? '
Kodi cocked a brow ,

She smiled a bit and took his hand to write her number down on his hand.
"I love the offer, but I don't like random strangers dropping me off so just, give me a text or call-"
