Red, concrete, screams, blood trails, and dark shadows everywhere. A long tunnel of darkness was feeling like it would never end as Serina and the others walked down the halls, the sound of their footsteps echoing through the empty hallway as she held onto axles arm tightly. As they continued, they turned to a large door, opened to show a large room full of shelves with ruined books, scrolls, torture devices, and melted candles. Walking straight down led to a large throne, stones pushing up into each other to create the back, morphed sides for the armrests of smooth stone that rose and washed over the sides like a tall wave, a small red pillow to allow comfort for the seat. She stopped and backed away as she saw tall black dog-like figures, bear size, black and smokey like they were shadows, bones lightly visible in the smoke as their mouths oozed a dark red color and their eyes glowed brightly. She turned quickly, looking over to Axle who was looking out of one of the windows.

As she walked over, she held his arm tightly, looking back at the demon dogs, and whispered,

"What's, what's those things-"

He looked back at the figures and chuckled, looking down at her and smiled.

"Lilith's dogs. They show their true form when they're here. They can't hide, they're open more this way..."

He smirked as she looked out the window, holding onto him tighter, and kissed the top of her head. But then tilted his head when he noticed she was starting to look down.

"what's the matter... Let me guess-"

She looked up as he raised his brow at her. She of course nodded, looking back out the window.

"Do you, think she's okay..."

"She's a tough girl, I'm sure she will be fine. She's just, going through a lot..."

"Yeah but, she doesn't need to go through it alone-"

The arms holding his arm snaked around his waist, his arms wrapping around her as he hugged onto her.

"I'm sure it's okay, you have your own life to worry about, okay?"

The smell of her hair made him close his eyes, falling in a trance as his lips pressed to the top of her head.

"I hope I hear from her soo-"

She stopped, grabbing her phone, and sighed, axle huffed, shaking his head.

"Babe, No. You call her every day, and she still hasn't answered. If you want my opinion you're better off..."

Serina's brows furrowed as she looked up at him backing away and huffed a breath.

"What is wrong with you, her family died, John died, her whole life has been a fuck show, and you tell me she deserves to be hurting, on her own?!?"

Serina then quickly walked past and Axle hurried after her.

"She left you, Rina-"

"No, you don't get to call me that, take me back now!"

She continued to walk off from him, pulling off as he grabbed her arm and turning to glare at him.

"Babe, please. She treated you like shit, and walked out on you..."

Serina opened her mouth but looked down at her phone to see it was Melanie, her eyes watering as she backed away from Axle and cleared her throat, picking up the phone, biting her lip.

"Rina..."

"Oh my god, Melanie. Hi, how are you?!? Are you okay?! You idiot, you left! What's wrong with you! I'm glad you're alive! Where are you!"

Serina paced back and forth, trying to keep away from Axle

"I'm... I'm fine, where are you?! You sound like you're going through a tunnel..."

"Shit, you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I'm surprised they have the reception they have in hell-"

She let out a small laugh, nipping at her bottom lip.

"WHAT THE FUCK, YOU'RE IN HELL WITHOUT ME?!?!"

"Well, I couldn't just invite you, I've been calling you... Wh- why are you calling me anyway?"

"Well, that's the thing... I need to, I need to talk to you in private..."

Serina looked up at Axle and nodded.

"I'll meet at our spot, okay?"

"Alright, no one else can come, understand?!"

"I- yeah okay! See ya, bye!"

As soon as she hung up, Axle was standing behind her with his arms crossed across his chest, tilting his head like a lost puppy.

"So?"

"I need to get out, where's the exit-"
