Katsuki Bakugou x GN Reader - Soft Spot
Word Count: 2,999
(A/N: I think I originally wrote this based on some half-baked OC that was mostly just hehe what if Bakugou liked someone with an opposite personality. But anyways, just a small warning, if you don't like when Y/N is characterized a certain way (in this case it's positive and outgoing) then skip this because that's what this is.)
⚠️ CW: Very brief mentions at the end of Bakugou physically injuring the reader. There's no detail of the injury and it's not focused on too much, but I'd just like to warn anyone that it's there.

It had been a rough couple of weeks after preparing for the Sport's Festival and your midterms. But, it finally paid off as internships rolled around. Aizawa had passed sheets around the class that indicated everyone's internship offers or other opportunities. Luckily, you managed to make it to the final round, so you were somewhat noticeable enough to get a handful of offers.
"Look, look, I got an offer from Best Jeanist!" You exclaimed while pointing at the name on your paper.
"That's so cool! Are you going to take it?" Uraraka asked.
"Maybe," You looked over the other names, "But, some of the other heroes are cool too. Who do you think you'll pick?"
Uraraka had also managed to get rather far in the event, so her paper had a multitude of names. "Hm– I was kinda' thinking about interning with the Battle Hero: Gunhead. He focuses on hand to hand combat a lot more than quirk use, and I think that's what I need to work on a bit. But, I don't know if I'd be out of place at an agency like his."
"That's a really good reason to work with him! You should totally go for it!" You encouraged her.
"What about you Iida! You haven't really said much about your internships. I'd think you'd get a lot of good ones with your family name." Uraraka turned towards the blue haired boy behind her.
"I'm– I'm still considering several options! That's very honorable of you to choose to work with a hero who will suit your training needs! Heroes take on a variety of interns all the time no matter their appearance or quirk, so it's unlikely you'll be out of sorts anywhere that you choose." Iida also reassured Uraraka.
"Thanks you guys! I should probably look at my other options too. I kinda' just assumed that Gunhead would be the best because I already knew him. Maybe we can ask Midoriya?" She offered. Uraraka and you quickly began to pester the green haired boy about all the hero names printed on the papers in your hands.

At the end of the day, despite all the good things Midoriya had to say about the less highly ranked heroes on your paper, you chose to intern with Best Jeanist. His agency wasn't the biggest, but he was a respectable and put together hero that you hoped to learn something from about rising to the top.
Now, the day for internships came. You had found a seat at the train station as you awaited for it's arrival… in about 30 minutes. You might have been a bit overzealous this morning and gotten to the station far earlier than you needed to be.
"Maybe there'll be other people from UA here?" You wondered as you scanned the people around. Not many people were left at the station after the previous train left, but no one was recognizable. So, you took to looking at the entrance stairs for anyone from UA.
It was a long while later that you noticed a familiar grey uniform and even more familiar blonde hair. "Bakugou, hey!" You gasped in excitement.
"What do you want extra?" Admittedly, though, Bakugou was far from someone you truly knew well.
