Izuku Midoriya × Reader - Opposite Thoughts

Oof have you ever had the experience of being the awkward third wheel after your friend leaves, so you're just there clearly avoiding them because you don't want to get caught in the situation where they're acting cute together and you're just there not knowing what to say if you even should say anything when you accidently look one of then directly in the eye. This is a terrifying occurance that happened too often for my anti-social abilities to handle.

This has nothing to do with anything here, i just enjoy ranting about... My shitty experiences as a third wheel.

I'm just going to start this one shot before I keep rambling even more.

You had been dating Izuku for a year now, but recently you'd been feeling unloved and neglected by him. Izuku would spend most of his time training, with or without All Might, studying, or doing homework. If he had the free time he'd spend with friends or just chilling in the main room of the dorms with others. You were fine with this for awhile, but he was barely spending anytime with you anymore.

"Hey Izuku, we have some exams coming up. Do you want to come to my dorm and study like we used to?" You offered.

"Uh- sorry, (Y/N). I want to study by myself today, maybe next time?" He replied.

"It's always next time." You said quietly to yourself.

"What was that?" He asked.

"Nothing. I'll talk to you later, Midoriya." You replied, walking away.

Izuku frowned a bit, you rarely called him by his last name. He thought as a couple you two would call eachother by your first names. Izuku looked over at you confused, wondering what was wrong for you to be calling him by his last name more often. You walked off towards where most of the girls were at the couches, and sat down to join them.

"Hi, (Y/N). Something wrong, kero?" Tsuyu asked.

"Yeah, you've been seeming a bit down lately. Is everything alright?" Uraraka also asked, sitting beside you.

"It's Midoriya." You said quietly.

"Oh, what's wrong with Midoriya?" She replied.

"He's been ignoring me a lot, and not spending that much time with me. He hasn't even complimented me or said he's loved me for awhile." You explained.

"It was so much different at the beginning of our relationship. He was so sweet and caring, even if it was mostly behind closed doors. Now he barely even talks to me normally." You added.

Uraraka rubbed circles on your back, understanding that you clearly were unhappy with this.

"Did you try talking to him about how you feel?" Uraraka asked.

"I tried, but he was always busy. He'd always say that we'd talk later or anothed time, but then we never did." You replied.

"(L/N), as a student of U.A.'s hero course, you should be focusing on becoming a hero. Clearly if Midoriya's is changing your focuses, you shouldn't be with him. And the way he's been treating you is making you unhappy. I truly don't think your relationship is working out. It's all up to you, but breaking up seems to be one of your options." Momo said. (A/N: This sounded like Iida lol)
